Milwaukee at Charlotte 7:00 PM ET
The Milwaukee Bucks look to turn their fortunes around when they hit the road to face the Charlotte Hornets on Monday. The Bucks have dropped three of their last four games - including a 90-85 setback to the Atlanta Hawks after beating them by 30 the night before - and hope to end the Hornets' recent dominance in the series. Milwaukee has lost seven straight games to Charlotte, with two defeats coming by a combined nine points this season and two of the last four decided in overtime.
Chicago at Indiana 7:00 PM ET
The Chicago Bulls are winners of six straight games and are asserting themselves as one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. The Indiana Pacers, who occupied one of those spots at the top of the East last season, will try to slow the Bulls when they host them on Monday. Chicago can win by dominating in the frontcourt with Pau Gasol, Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson or by turning things over to Jimmy Butler and Derrick Rose in the backcourt.
Sacramento at Brooklyn 7:30 PM ET
Linked in recent trade rumors, Sacramento and Brooklyn are now prepared to meet Monday in New York. Although talks have reportedly cooled, the Kings and Nets recently discussed a deal that involved Brooklyn point guard Deron Williams, who has come off the bench in two games since returning from a calf injury. Williams had seven points while his replacement in the starting lineup, Jarrett Jack, had 22 in a 110-85 loss to Indiana on Saturday, snapping the Nets' three-game winning streak.
Orlando at Miami 7:30 PM ET
The Miami Heat have controlled the matchups with Orlando in recent seasons and look for their 11th consecutive victory over the host Magic on Monday. Miami had little trouble with Orlando during the LeBron James era and kept its winnings ways going with a 99-92 road win over the Magic on Nov. 22. The Heat are 2-4 as they close a seven-game road trip – they lost 103-95 to Memphis on Saturday – while Orlando posted a 102-94 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday.
Washington at Houston 8:00 PM ET
The Washington Wizards are establishing themselves as a power in the Eastern Conference but will get a better look at how they stack up against the rest of the league during a five-game road trip. The Wizards kick off the excursion by visiting the new-look Houston Rockets on Monday. Washington had the benefit of a home-heavy schedule early in the season and has not played more than two straight on the road in the first two months.
Utah at L.A. Clippers 10:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers look to continue their domination of Utah when they host the Jazz on Monday. Los Angeles has posted 11 straight victories over Utah, including two this season and both were decided by six points. The Clippers had an eight-game home winning streak halted by the Toronto Raptors 110-98 on Saturday while the Jazz have won four of their last five games after playing a strong fourth quarter to beat the Philadelphia 76ers 88-71 on Saturday.
