Preview Roundups

Golden State at Dallas 2:00 PM ET
The Golden State Warriors look to extend their franchise-best winning streak to 15 games when they hit the road to face the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday afternoon. The Warriors secured their NBA-leading 19th win after downing the Houston Rockets 105-93 and hope to begin their three-game road trip by beating the Mavericks for the fourth consecutive time. Golden State is the 16th team in NBA history to start out 19-2 and Steve Kerr is the only rookie coach to win 19 of his first 21 games.
Brooklyn at Charlotte 7:00 PM ET
After an outstanding effort was not rewarded in Memphis, the Charlotte Hornets will have to dig deep Saturday when the Brooklyn Nets visit. The struggling Hornets took the Grizzlies and their NBA-best home record to two overtimes before dropping a 113-107 decision to the Western Conference power. The loss snapped a modest two-game winning streak after the Hornets had dropped 10 in a row.
Portland at Indiana 7:00 PM ET
Damian Lillard put on his best shooting performance of the season in a losing effort and looks for another strong showing when the Portland Trail Blazers visit the Indiana Pacers on Saturday. Lillard set season highs with 35 points and seven 3-pointers as he single-handedly attempted to keep Portland in the game before it succumbed 115-106 to the Chicago Bulls on Friday. Indiana is struggling and will be attempting to snap a seven-game losing streak.
Atlanta at Orlando 7:00 PM ET
It hasn't been pretty of late but Atlanta continues to win and can extend its streak to 10 games when it wraps up a home-and-home set at Orlando on Saturday. The Magic became the ninth consecutive victim for the Hawks on Friday, succumbing to a stretch run for Atlanta in an 87-81 final. The Hawks survived an 11-point second quarter - their worst offensive showing in a stanza this season - and 37.2 percent shooting to keep alive their longest winning streak since opening the 1997-98 season 11-0.
L.A. Clippers at Milwaukee 7:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers look to end their three-game road trip on a positive note after having a long winning streak snapped when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. The Clippers were seeking a 10th straight win Friday but were beaten wire-to-wire by the Washington Wizards and settled for the fourth-longest win streak in franchise history. One thing working in Los Angeles' favor is that it is a perfect 5-0 in the second of back-to-backs.
Memphis at Philadelphia 7:30 PM ET
One night after the Memphis Grizzlies were pushed to double-overtime by one of the worst clubs in the NBA, they will look to dispatch the worst team in the league in easier fashion. The Grizzlies visit the woeful Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday but struggled to slip past the Charlotte Hornets 113-107 on Friday. Philadelphia has won just two games and matched a season low for points Friday in an 88-70 loss to the Brooklyn Nets.
Denver at Houston 8:00 PM ET
The Houston Rockets are expected to have eight-time All Star center Dwight Howard back from a knee injury when they host the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night. Howard played his last game for Houston on Nov. 17 and the Rockets went 8-3 without him after a 9-1 mark with Howard in the starting lineup. If Howard returns, he’ll be up against a Denver team that’s been thinned up front with injuries but did welcome back power forward Kenneth Faried for Wednesday’s win against the Miami Heat.
Detroit at Sacramento 10:00 PM ET
Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins is looking doubtful to return for Sunday’s game against the visiting Detroit Pistons. Cousins has missed the last eight games with viral meningitis and the Kings have won twice in that span, leaving them on the verge of falling two games under .500 for the first time this season. His absence will be especially noticeable against the big front line of Detroit, which helped the Pistons end a 13-game losing streak Friday against the host Phoenix Suns.
