Preview Roundups
November 18, 2019
Cleveland at New York 7:00 PM ET
The New York Knicks have yet to string a pair of victories together this season and missed out on two chances to do so at home in November against sub .500 teams, including Saturday when they coughed up a four-point lead in the final 35 seconds against Charlotte. The Knicks look to avenge the other of those two disappointing losses when they host the struggling Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night.
Indiana at Brooklyn 7:30 PM ET
The Indiana Pacers are coming off a rough back-to-back and will look to jump back into the win column against a struggling squad when they visit the Brooklyn Nets on Monday. The Pacers won seven of eight before falling at Houston on Friday and failing to bring much energy at home in a loss to Milwaukee the next night.
Charlotte at Toronto 7:30 PM ET
The Toronto Raptors stumbled a bit at the end of a five-game road trip but get seven of the next nine at home to turn things around. The Raptors will begin that stretch on Monday by hosting the Charlotte Hornets, who are winners of two straight.
Milwaukee at Chicago 8:00 PM ET
Giannis Antetokounmpo did not have much room for improvement, but he seems to have found a way to rise to another level lately. The reigning MVP will take his well-rounded game to Chicago on Monday for a matchup with the Bulls, who struggled to contain the superstar in a matchup Thursday in Milwaukee.
Portland at Houston 8:00 PM ET
James Harden is scoring at a prolific rate once again and the Houston Rockets are riding that scoring binge to a seven-game winning streak. The Rockets will try to make it eight in a row on Monday when they host the Portland Trail Blazers, who kicked off a six-game trip with a win at San Antonio on Saturday.
San Antonio at Dallas 8:30 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs are mired in their longest losing streak in more than eight years and they'll try to end it Monday while visiting a Dallas Mavericks team coming off perhaps its best win of the season. The Spurs responded briefly to head coach Gregg Popovich's ejection in the third quarter before fading in the fourth in a 121-116 loss to Portland at home Saturday night.
Boston at Phoenix 9:00 PM ET
The Boston Celtics will try to start a new winning streak Monday when they continue a challenging road trip at the Phoenix Suns. After opening the five-game trip with a victory at Golden State to stretch their streak to 10 wins in a row, the Celtics fell 100-99 at Sacramento on Sunday.
Minnesota at Utah 9:00 PM ET
A pair of teams looking to rebound from difficult losses will meet twice in a span of three days, beginning with the Minnesota Timberwolves' visit to the Utah Jazz on Monday. The Jazz, who visit Minnesota on Wednesday, saw their four-game winning streak snapped in a one-point loss at Memphis on Friday.
Oklahoma City at L.A. Clippers 10:30 PM ET
Los Angeles Clippers fans are still waiting to see Paul George and Kawhi Leonard on the floor together, but the team is pretty good with one or the other carrying the load. George will play his third game since returning from shoulder surgery when the Clippers host his former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, on Monday.
