Preview Roundups
November 11, 2019
Minnesota at Detroit 7:00 PM ET
Star forward Blake Griffin is expected to make his season debut for the Detroit Pistons on Monday against the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves. The six-time All-Star has been nursing knee and hamstring issues since the preseason and ESPN reported Sunday that the 30-year-old is ready to return.
Dallas at Boston 7:30 PM ET
The Boston Celtics are steamrolling through opponents since a season-opening loss, with Gordon Hayward's dominant play a big reason why. They will have to press on without Hayward for now after the former All-Star broke his left hand, beginning with a Monday night matchup with the visiting Dallas Mavericks.
Memphis at San Antonio 7:30 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs were bad enough early on Saturday that coach Gregg Popovich called a full timeout and replaced his entire starting lineup five minutes into the game. The Spurs will try for a better start and a better finish when they host the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.
Houston at New Orleans 8:00 PM ET
The Houston Rockets were looking for a better effort on the defensive end and found it in a 117-94 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday - their third consecutive triumph. The Rockets will try to make it four in a row and put together another strong effort on the defensive end when they visit the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday.
Utah at Golden State 10:30 PM ET
The Utah Jazz pulled off a pair of one-possession wins at home in the last week but are 1-3 on the road, where they will play eight of their next 12 games. The Jazz will try to avoid another road loss when they start that stretch by visiting the Golden State Warriors on Monday.
Toronto at L.A. Clippers 10:30 PM ET
Kawhi Leonard will face the team he led to an NBA title for the first time when he takes his Los Angeles Clippers into a matchup with the visiting Toronto Raptors on Monday. Leonard averaged a career-high 26.6 points with the Raptors last season and then 30.5 during the team's playoff run to the championship before signing with the Clippers this offseason.
