Preview Roundups
February 26, 2020
New York at Charlotte 7:00 PM ET
The Charlotte Hornets haven't put up much of a fight while losing their past two games by an average of 34 points. Charlotte looks to shake its way out of the doldrums when it hosts the also-struggling New York Knicks on Wednesday.
Philadelphia at Cleveland 7:00 PM ET
The Philadelphia 76ers will go as far as All-Star center Joel Embiid can take them, and he showed off his capabilities at home on Monday. The 76ers will try to coax a similar performance out of Embiid and the rest of the squad when they go for a rare road win while visiting the Eastern Conference-worst Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.
Brooklyn at Washington 7:00 PM ET
Bradley Beal will try to continue his impressive scoring surge - this time with a victory in tow - when he leads the Washington Wizards into a matchup with the visiting Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. Beal became the first player since the late Kobe Bryant in 2007 to score at least 50 points on back-to-back nights when he finished with 55 against Milwaukee on Monday after putting up 53 versus Chicago on Sunday.
Orlando at Atlanta 7:30 PM ET
The Orlando Magic are not content to earn the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference and expect to spend the rest of the regular season moving up the standings. The Magic will try to take another step forward and win for the fourth time in five games when they finish a two-game road trip by visiting the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.
Minnesota at Miami 7:30 PM ET
The Miami Heat are much more comfortable in front of their home fans, and they proved that once again with a disappointing road performance on Monday. The Heat will try to get back in the win column when they return to a more familiar setting and host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
Memphis at Houston 8:00 PM ET
The Houston Rockets are cruising along with wins in four straight games as their small ball lineup continues to take shape. The Rockets will try to make it five in a row when they host the struggling Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.
Dallas at San Antonio 8:30 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs play at home for the first time since Feb. 1 when they face the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. The Spurs went 2-6 on their annual Rodeo Road Trip while their home venue was unavailable due to the presence of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.
L.A. Clippers at Phoenix 9:00 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers hope they have put a three-game funk behind them as they enter Wednesday's road contest against the Phoenix Suns. The Clippers allowed an average of 121 points in losses to Philadelphia, Boston and Sacramento before rebounding with a dominating 124-97 home win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.
Boston at Utah 10:30 PM ET
All-Star forward Jayson Tatum takes aim at his fifth consecutive strong performance when the Boston Celtics visit the Utah Jazz on Wednesday. Tatum made a career-high eight 3-pointers and poured in 36 points as Boston recorded a 118-106 road win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday.
