Orlando at Philadelphia 7:00 PM ET
The Orlando Magic will try to avoid matching a season-worst 10th consecutive loss when they travel to Philadelphia to take on the 76ers on Monday night. The 76ers, meanwhile, will look to take advantage of a visit from the struggling Magic as they try to gain ground in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Philadelphia has won two straight and three of four and sits 3 1/2 games behind Boston for the eighth spot. Orlando has lost 20 of 22 overall and six straight on the road.
L.A. Clippers at Washington 7:00 PM ET
A road trip that began with promise for the Los Angeles Clippers has skidded off the tracks. The Clippers look to rediscover their winning ways as they visit the Washington Wizards on Monday night. Still without injured point guard Chris Paul, the Clippers fell behind early and had a late rally fall short in a narrow loss to the Boston Celtics on Sunday afternoon. It was their second straight loss following a trek-opening win over Milwaukee. The Wizards have dropped four consecutive games.
Chicago at Indiana 7:00 PM ET
Chicago looks to extend its Central Division lead and Indiana attempts to tie the Bulls for the top spot when the Pacers host Chicago on Monday. The Bulls have a one-game division lead but Indiana is a scorching 18-3 at home with 13 consecutive victories. The streak is the longest since the Pacers won 14 consecutive home games during the 2002-03 campaign. Chicago has won seven of its last nine road games and has a 14-7 away mark.
Detroit at New York 7:30 PM ET
The New York Knicks are making the most of a soft schedule. They will try to maintain their winning ways against losing teams when they host the Detroit Pistons on Monday. The Pistons mark the second of four straight sub-.500 opponents for the Knicks, who also defeated sliding Orlando late last month and have won four straight. The latest was a 120-81 demolition of lowly Sacramento on Saturday, which made New York the first Eastern Conference team with 30 wins.
Charlotte at Miami 7:30 PM ET
The Miami Heat return home from a four-game road trip with the best record in the Eastern Conference, and they'll try to improve upon that mark when they host the woeful Charlotte Bobcats to begin a five-game homestand Monday night. It's the second of four meetings this season. Miami won the first contest 105-92 on Dec. 26 in Charlotte and has won eight straight meetings with the Bobcats. The Bobcats have lost three straight to begin their five-game road trip. They've dropped six of seven and 30
Dallas at Oklahoma City 8:00 PM ET
The Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder boast the most entertaining head-to-head series so far. The Mavericks will be looking for a better final result as they visit the Thunder in their third encounter of the season. The Thunder prevailed in overtime in each of the first two games, including a 117-114 victory in their last meeting Jan. 18. Oklahoma City is coming off a 115-110 defeat at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday, while Dallas handled Phoenix 109-99 on Friday night.
Portland at Minnesota 8:00 PM ET
One game out of a playoff spot, the Portland Trail Blazers begin an important portion of their schedule Monday when they kick off a six-game road trip at Minnesota. The Blazers enter with momentum after a 105-99 win over Utah on Saturday. With top outside shooter Wesley Matthews sidelined with an ankle injury, rookie Damian Lillard stayed hot with 23 points. Portland is 7-15 on the road and has lost four straight, its last win coming at the Timberwolves on Jan. 5.
Sacramento at Utah 9:00 PM ET
The Sacramento Kings attempt to make the final contest of a six-game road trip vastly better than their last outing when they visit the Utah Jazz on Monday. Sacramento was routed 120-81 by the New York Knicks on Saturday to fall to 1-4 on the trip and 5-19 on the road overall. It was the third time the Kings lost by 18 or more points during the excursion. Utah is 17-5 at home and is beginning a three-game homestand.
