Preview Roundups
February 01, 2020
Minnesota at L.A. Clippers 3:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Clippers look to bounce back from a shoddy showing when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday afternoon. The Clippers had their Tuesday game against the Los Angeles Lakers postponed due to the death of Kobe Bryant and then looked listless during Thursday's 124-103 home loss to the Sacramento Kings.
New York at Indiana 7:00 PM ET
Victor Oladipo made an immediate impact in his first game after missing over a year following surgery to repair a ruptured quad tendon, helping the Indiana Pacers to an overtime triumph over Chicago on Wednesday. Oladipo will try to increase his activity and help the Pacers keep rolling when they host the New York Knicks on Saturday.
Miami at Orlando 7:00 PM ET
The Miami Heat were nearly invincible at home until the Los Angeles Clippers and Boston Celtics knocked them off this week, but the road is a different story. The Heat will try to improve to .500 on the road when they visit the Orlando Magic on Saturday.
Golden State at Cleveland 8:00 PM ET
A matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers used to be must-see TV, but both franchises have recently fallen on hard times. The NBA-worst Warriors will try to snap a five-game slide on Saturday when they visit the Cavaliers, who are tied for the worst record in the Eastern Conference.
Brooklyn at Washington 8:00 PM ET
Kyrie Irving is fresh off the second-highest scoring performance in franchise history as the Brooklyn Nets visit the Washington Wizards on Saturday. Irving poured in 54 points on 19-of-23 shooting in Friday's 133-118 home win over the Chicago Bulls, falling three short of the franchise record set by Deron Williams during the 2011-12 season.
Philadelphia at Boston 8:30 PM ET
Joel Embiid has shown no rust in two games since returning from a finger injury, but his Philadelphia 76ers have had varied results. They will try to put everything together and pick up a rare road win when they visit the rival Boston Celtics on Saturday.
Atlanta at Dallas 8:30 PM ET
With and without All-Star guard Luka Doncic, the Dallas Mavericks are having some issues on the defensive end. They'll try to tighten things up and snap a two-game slide when they host the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.
Charlotte at San Antonio 9:00 PM ET
San Antonio Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan was among the notable snubs when All-Star rosters were announced on Thursday despite posting one of his best games of the season in a win on Wednesday. DeRozan will try to lead the Spurs to a second consecutive victory when they host the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday.
L.A. Lakers at Sacramento 10:00 PM ET
The Los Angeles Lakers lost in their return to the basketball court on Friday following the death of Kobe Bryant and will try to rebound when they visit the Sacramento Kings on Saturday. It was an emotional scene with the Lakers holding a tribute to Bryant and the eight others who died in Sunday's helicopter trash but the Portland Trail Blazers outplayed the Lakers in a 127-119 triumph.
Utah at Portland 10:30 PM ET
The hottest team in the NBA for a full month, the Utah Jazz have suddenly dropped three in a row. They'll try to snap the losing streak when they complete a three-game road trip at the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday.
