The Utah Jazz are the hottest team in the Western Conference of late and are winners of three straight and 18 of their last 20 games to pull into the No. 2 spot in the Western Conference. Trying to chase down the Jazz are the Dallas Mavericks, who are winners of four of five and will visit Utah on Saturday for the second stop of a three-game trip.

The Brooklyn Nets will once again attempt to break out of their funk when they visit the Detroit Pistons on Saturday in the opening contest of a two-game road trip. Brooklyn has dropped five straight games and 12 of 14 after suffering a 128-113 home loss against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday.

Zach LaVine just tormented Cleveland last Saturday and he looks to do so again when the Chicago Bulls visit the Cavaliers this Saturday. LaVine scored 21 of his 42 points in the fourth quarter of the recent meeting as the Bulls rallied from a 15-point, final-quarter deficit to post a 118-116 victory.
Oklahoma City at Minnesota 8:00 PM ET
The Oklahoma City Thunder seek their fifth consecutive victory and 17th in the past 22 games when they visit the struggling Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday. The Thunder continued their winning ways with a 140-111 home rout of the Atlanta Hawks on Friday as seven players scored in double digits.

LeBron James has a chance to pass Kobe Bryant for third place on the NBA's all-time scoring list when the Los Angeles Lakers visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday. James, who averages 25.2 points, needs 18 to surpass Bryant's career total of 33,643.
