October 02, 2016
Baltimore at NY Yankees 3:05 PM ET
The Baltimore Orioles are back in a tie for the American League wild card lead after missing out on an opportunity Saturday to remain in control. The Orioles will try to clinch their spot in the wild card game and perhaps steal home-field advantage when they visit the New York Yankees in the regular-season finale on Sunday.
Toronto at Boston 3:05 PM ET
There will be plenty still at stake when David Ortiz plays his final regular-season home game as the Boston Red Sox host the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday. The Blue Jays are tied with the Baltimore Orioles for the American League wild card lead while the Red Sox are still trying to figure out where they will begin Ortiz's final postseason.
Houston at LA Angels 3:05 PM ET
Jose Altuve looks to put the finishing touches on his second American League batting title in three years when his Houston Astros visit the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday for the rubber match of their season-ending three-game series. Altuve, who took the crown with a .341 average in 2014, enters this year's finale at .338 after his two-hit performance in Saturday's 3-0 victory.
Tampa Bay at Texas 3:05 PM ET
One of the bright spots during an otherwise disappointing season for the Tampa Bay Rays has been the re-emergence of Evan Longoria as an All-Star caliber player. Longoria boasts career highs in homers (36), hits (172) and is two shy of his first 100-RBI season since 2010 as the visiting Rays complete the regular season Sunday against the American League West champion Texas Rangers.
LA Dodgers at San Francisco 3:05 PM ET
The San Francisco Giants had some rough moments in the second half of the season, but they will be a playoff team once again with a win in Sunday's regular-season finale against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers. Behind eight scoreless innings by rookie Ty Blach, the Giants picked up a 3-0 win over the rival Dodgers on Saturday to remain one game ahead of St. Louis for the second wild card in the National League.
Miami at Washington 3:05 PM ET
The Washington Nationals accomplished two goals on Saturday: locking up homefield advantage in the first round of the postseason and getting Bryce Harper through two straight games healthy. The Nationals will try to make it through the weekend injury-free when they finish out the regular season by hosting the Miami Marlins on Sunday.
NY Mets at Philadelphia 3:05 PM ET
With the New York Mets having secured the top wild-card spot in the upcoming National League playoffs, the spotlight on Sunday is expected to center around Philadelphia Phillies slugger Ryan Howard. The 2005 NL Rookie of the Year and 2006 NL MVP will be honored with a pregame ceremony, which is expected to reflect on his efforts to help Philadelphia secure five division titles, two NL pennants and the 2008 World Series championship.
Minnesota at Chi. White Sox 3:10 PM ET
Manager Robin Ventura will be in the dugout reportedly for the final time on Sunday as the host Chicago White Sox conclude a disappointing season against the cellar-dwelling Minnesota Twins. Ventura's five-year tenure is expected to end on Monday morning, with the White Sox to name current bench coach Rick Renteria as their new manager, according to a report by the Chicago Sun-Times.
Detroit at Atlanta 3:10 PM ET
The Detroit Tigers are left with zero margin for error as they wrap up an interleague series with the Atlanta Braves in the final game at Turner Field on Sunday. The Tigers will need a loss by either Baltimore or Toronto on Sunday in addition to defeating both the Braves in the series finale and upending Cleveland in a make-up contest the following day to force a play-in game for an American League wild-card spot.
Oakland at Seattle 3:10 PM ET
Unable to end their postseason drought, the Seattle Mariners attempt to finish the season with a series victory when they host the Oakland Athletics on Sunday for the finale of their four-game set. The Mariners had their hopes for their first playoff appearance in 15 years squashed on Saturday, dropping a 9-8 decision in 10 innings to officially be eliminated from the American League wild-card race.
San Diego at Arizona 3:10 PM ET
Despite what has been yet another disappointing year for the Arizona Diamondbacks, they might be able to find some peace in ending the season strong. The Diamondbacks hope to avoid their second last-place finish in the National League West in three years Sunday, when wrap up a three-game home series with the San Diego Padres.
Chi. Cubs at Cincinnati 3:10 PM ET

Not much will be on the line when the Cincinnati Reds host the Chicago Cubs in the regular-season finale Sunday, but the Cubs' Kyle Hendricks has something to play for. Hendricks will try to hold onto the best ERA in the majors as he makes his final tune-up before the National League Division Series.

Milwaukee at Colorado 3:10 PM ET
The postseason hopes for both the Milwaukee Brewers and Colorado Rockies faded some time ago, but there still will be some intrigue for the clubs heading into the final day of the regular season. After pulling even with the Rockies' Nolan Arenado with his 41st homer of the season in his last game, the Brewers' Chris Carter looks to break the tie for the home-run crown in the National League on Sunday as the teams wrap up their regular seasons in Colorado.
Cleveland at Kansas City 3:15 PM ET
The Cleveland Indians have seized control of their postseason destiny - at least for the opening round - and can clinch home field as early as Sunday, when they go for a sweep of the host Kansas City Royals. Already set to meet Boston in the American League Division Series, the Indians can secure home-field advantage with a win Sunday and a loss by the Red Sox.
Pittsburgh at St. Louis 3:15 PM ET
The St. Louis Cardinals own baseball's longest streak of consecutive playoff appearances at five, and they will go to the final day of the regular season in their quest for six in a row. Following another dramatic win to keep their season alive, the Cardinals need one more when they finish the regular season at home against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday.
