Pittsburgh at Cincinnati 12:10 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Pirates posted large crooked numbers in the late going of back-to-back contests to vent some frustration for their pronounced plummet in the standings. The Pirates look to continue their power surge on Saturday as they face the host Cincinnati Reds in a doubleheader at Great American Ball Park.
NY Yankees at Boston 1:05 PM ET
Left-hander David Price has been heating up since August while fellow veteran Hanley Ramirez has found his stride in September. The dynamic duo looks to continue its sizzling ways on Saturday as the host Boston Red Sox attempt to claim the first three contests of their four-game series with the rival New York Yankees.
Washington at Atlanta 1:05 PM ET
While the Washington Nationals march toward the National League East title, Trea Turner continues to show why he is one of the top rookies in the NL as his team visits the Atlanta Braves on Saturday in the middle contest of a three-game series. Turner slammed his ninth homer of the season in a 4-for-5, two-RBI performance Friday and has punished Atlanta pitching while hitting .438 in 17 career games with five homers, 19 runs scored and 15 RBIs.
Milwaukee at Chi. Cubs 4:05 PM ET

Jake Arrieta hasn’t quite duplicated the numbers from his Cy Young Award campaign of a year ago, but the Chicago Cubs pitcher can take over the National League lead for wins with a victory over the visiting Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. Arrieta aims to break a tie with teammate Jon Lester for the league lead in the third of a four-game series.

Detroit at Cleveland 4:10 PM ET
Justin Verlander has lost all three starts this season against the American League Central's best team, a pattern he will try to reverse when the Detroit Tigers visit the Cleveland Indians on Saturday afternoon. Cleveland continued its domination of the Tigers with an 11-4 rout in the series opener to take a seven-game lead atop the division.
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati 6:10 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Pirates posted large crooked numbers in the late going of back-to-back contests to vent some frustration for their pronounced plummet in the standings. The Pirates look to continue their power surge on Saturday as they face the host Cincinnati Reds in a doubleheader at Great American Ball Park.
Tampa Bay at Baltimore 7:05 PM ET
After watching an eighth-inning comeback bid fall short in the opener of their four-game set with the Tampa Bay Rays, the Baltimore Orioles finished the job one day later to maintain their grip on a potential postseason berth. The Orioles hope to avoid the need for yet another rally and attempt to prolong their season-long domination of the Rays on Saturday when the American League East rivals continue their series in Baltimore.
Miami at Philadelphia 7:05 PM ET
The Philadelphia Phillies have long since been removed from any postseason discussion, and they are doing their best to make sure the Miami Marlins are not involved in that conversation as well. After posting a 13-inning triumph in the opener, the Phillies will look to deal another blow to visiting Miami's slim playoff aspirations on Saturday at Citizens Bank Park.
Minnesota at NY Mets 7:10 PM ET
While the two teams they are battling with for the two wild-cards in the National League are playing one another, the New York Mets are fortifying their lineup with a number of injured players set to return. Slugging first baseman Lucas Duda, sidelined for nearly four months, is expected to rejoin the Mets on Saturday as they continue their three-game series versus the visiting Minnesota Twins.
Chi. White Sox at Kansas City 7:15 PM ET
A disastrous homestand has pretty much buried the postseason hopes of the Kansas City Royals, who will attempt to end a five-game slide when they continue a four-game series against the visiting Chicago White Sox on Saturday night. The defending World Series champions have been gouged for 50 runs -- all at home -- during the ugly skid.
Oakland at Texas 8:05 PM ET
The Texas Rangers look to take another step toward winning the American League West title when they host the Oakland Athletics on Saturday in the middle contest of their three-game set. Texas cut its magic number to seven with a dramatic 7-6 victory in Friday's series opener and is 9 1/2 games ahead of second-place Seattle.
LA Dodgers at Arizona 8:10 PM ET
The Los Angeles Dodgers are meandering toward the National League West crown and look to move a little closer when they visit the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday for the third contest of their four-game series. Los Angeles recorded a 3-2 victory on Friday to remain four games ahead of San Francisco while trimming its magic number to clinch the division title to 12.
San Diego at Colorado 8:10 PM ET
One night after having their hopes for a perfect road trip extinguished, the San Diego Padres attempt to even their series against the Colorado Rockies when they meet for the middle contest of their three-game set on Saturday. San Diego swept a three-game series at San Francisco and appeared on its way to improving to 4-0 on its six-game trek before falling apart in the latter innings of the opener.
Toronto at LA Angels 9:05 PM ET
Edwin Encarnacion has reached 40 homers for the second time in his career and is just three shy of setting a new personal high as the Toronto Blue Jays visit the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday for the third contest of their four-game series. Encarnacion's two-run blast capped a three-run ninth inning as Toronto claimed a critical 5-0 victory on Friday.
St. Louis at San Francisco 9:05 PM ET
Buster Posey has returned to form just in time for the San Francisco Giants, who remain within striking distance of the first-place Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League West. Posey looks to continue his hot hitting Saturday as the Giants aim for their third straight win over the visiting St. Louis Cardinals, who have dropped five of their last six games.
Houston at Seattle 9:10 PM ET
The Houston Astros tightened things up a bit in the American League wild-card race by winning the series opener and look to make it even more interesting when they visit the Seattle Mariners on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game set. Houston rolled past Seattle ace Felix Hernandez on Friday, scoring six runs over the first five innings en route to a 6-0 triumph that kept it four games behind Baltimore and Toronto for a wild-card spot.
