Detroit at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET
Whatever momentum the Detroit Tigers hoped they were building after catching fire against two likely American League playoff teams over a five-day span came to a crashing halt over the weekend in Baltimore. The Tigers attempt to shake off a miserable end to their last series when they open up a four-game, home-and-home interleague set against the Pirates on Monday with the first of two contests in Pittsburgh.
Miami at Washington 7:05 PM ET
The Washington Nationals finished a 3-3 road trip on a positive note and look to take that momentum into a nine-game homestand that begins Monday with the first of four contests against the Miami Marlins. Matt Wieters belted a grand slam to help the Nationals rally from three runs down for a 9-4 victory at the Chicago Cubs on Sunday and maintain their 13-game lead over second-place Miami in the National League East.
San Diego at Cincinnati 7:10 PM ET
Joey Votto is piling up the home run milestones and seeks a few more when he leads the Cincinnati Reds into the opener of a four-game series with the visiting San Diego Padres on Monday. Votto slugged a three-run shot in Sunday's 13-4 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals, the 250th of his career, which places him one behind Ted Kluszewski for fifth place in franchise history.
Milwaukee at Minnesota 8:10 PM ET
The Milwaukee Brewers make another attempt at taking over first place in the National League Central when they visit the Minnesota Twins on Monday for the opener of a four-game, home-and-home series. Milwaukee wasted an opportunity to leap past the Chicago Cubs on Sunday as it dropped a 2-1 decision in Tampa Bay to halt its winning streak at three games.
St. Louis at Kansas City 8:15 PM ET

The stakes aren’t always high when the Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals play their annual interleague series. This year’s I-70 Series comes with plenty on the line, though, as both teams enter the four-game home-and-home series Monday at Kansas City with hopes of making a playoff push.

Baltimore at LA Angels 10:07 PM ET
The Baltimore Orioles completed a 5-2 homestand with a pair of victories and look to continue their winning ways when they begin a 10-game West Coast trip on Monday with the first of three contests against the Los Angeles Angels. Baltimore posted a 12-3 win over Detroit on Sunday to earn a split of their four-game set and remain 2 1/2 games behind Kansas City for the second wild card in the American League.
Chi. Cubs at San Francisco 10:08 PM ET

After playing spoiler to one playoff contender over the weekend, the San Francisco Giants welcome another postseason hopeful to town when they begin a three-game series against the Chicago Cubs on Monday. The Cubs hit the West Coast clinging to a half-game lead over Milwaukee in the National League Central after dropping four of their last five.
