Atlanta at Cincinnati 12:35 PM ET
Erick Aybar and Gordon Beckham are middle infielders who the Atlanta Braves likely will look to deal as the Aug. 1 trade deadline approaches and both bolstered their resumes with strong performances in Tuesday’s 5-4, 11-inning victory at the Cincinnati Reds. Aybar went 2-for-3 and Beckham belted a two-run homer for the Braves, who play the final contest of the three-game set Wednesday looking to win the series.
Minnesota at Detroit 1:10 PM ET
The Minnesota Twins seek their fifth win in seven road games when they visit the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday afternoon for the rubber match of their three-game set. Minnesota is tied with Cincinnati for the fewest victories away from home (14) in the major leagues but has improved its play on the road of late, taking three of four at American League West-leading Texas just prior to the All-Star break and posting a 6-2 triumph at Detroit on Tuesday after dropping a 1-0 decision in the series open
Cleveland at Kansas City 2:15 PM ET
Francisco Lindor is crowning the Kansas City Royals every chance he gets this season. The All-Star shortstop looks to continue his torrid stretch on Wednesday afternoon as the visiting Cleveland Indians play the rubber match of their three-game series versus their American League Central rival.
San Diego at St. Louis 2:15 PM ET
A 10-game road trip that started with a lopsided loss became more of a struggle for the San Diego Padres after rain washed out the second contest of a four-game set against the host St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday. A 10-2 loser in the series opener, San Diego will play a day-night doubleheader versus the Cardinals on Wednesday.
NY Mets at Chi. Cubs 2:20 PM ET

The Chicago Cubs let an opportunity slip away, but they’ll get a quick shot at redemption in the rubber match of a three-game series against the visiting New York Mets on Wednesday. The Cubs had the bases loaded with no outs in the ninth inning Tuesday before Jeurys Familia slammed the door for a 2-1 Mets' win and evened the series at a game apiece.

Tampa Bay at Colorado 3:10 PM ET
The Tampa Bay Rays have a chance to post their first road series victory in more than a month when they visit the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday afternoon in the rubber match of their three-game set. The Rays snapped an 11-game losing streak away from home with a 10-1 romp following a lengthy rain delay on Tuesday.
Houston at Oakland 3:35 PM ET
The Oakland Athletics look to ride the momentum of their comeback victory and complete a three-game sweep when they host the American League West-rival Houston Astros for the finale on Wednesday afternoon. Oakland fell into a three-run hole Tuesday but scored two in the seventh inning and one in the ninth before Josh Reddick delivered an RBI infield single a frame later to finish the comeback.
Chi. White Sox at Seattle 3:40 PM ET
Seattle ace Felix Hernandez takes the mound for the first time in seven-plus weeks Wednesday when the Mariners conclude a three-game series against the visiting Chicago White Sox. Hernandez suffered a calf injury during a start against the Minnesota Twins on May 27 and will be activated from the disabled list prior to the contest.
Toronto at Arizona 3:40 PM ET
All-Star Edwin Encarnacion is closing in on his fifth consecutive 30-homer campaign and looks to go deep for the fourth time in his last seven games when the Toronto Blue Jays conclude a two-game series against the host Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday afternoon. Encarnacion launched a three-run blast in Tuesday's 5-1 victory and is tied for third place in the major leagues with 25 homers.
Baltimore at NY Yankees 7:05 PM ET
A critical 10-game homestand was expected to tell the tale if the New York Yankees would be buyers or sellers at the upcoming trade deadline. The Yankees have received positive results thus far and will vie for their fourth straight win and sixth in eight outings on Wednesday when they play the third contest of a four-game series versus the Baltimore Orioles.
LA Dodgers at Washington 7:05 PM ET
The Los Angeles Dodgers missed a pair of opportunities to gain ground on the San Francisco Giants in the National League West with one-run losses in Arizona over the weekend and are determined not to let any more chances go to waste with the road trip hitting the East coast. The Dodgers took the series opener to gain one game and will try to take another when they visit the Washington Nationals in the second of a three-game set on Wednesday.
Miami at Philadelphia 7:05 PM ET
Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Jeremy Hellickson may not just be facing the visiting Miami Marlins on Wednesday - he also might be auditioning for them as well. With the trade deadline on the horizon, the 29-year-old reportedly has piqued the interest of the Marlins (among others) as the team attempts to bolster the rotation in its quest for a postseason berth.
Milwaukee at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Pirates aren’t knocking the cover off the ball and are suddenly answering questions about the back end of the bullpen, but at least they’re winning. The Pirates will try to push their winning streak to three straight and clinch a series win when they host the Milwaukee Brewers in the second of a three-game series on Wednesday.
San Francisco at Boston 7:10 PM ET
The Boston Red Sox spent the first half of the season fretting about the state of their pitching rotation but appear to be in pretty good shape so far in the second half. The Red Sox will welcome the newest addition to that staff on Wednesday when Drew Pomeranz takes the mound in the finale of a two-game interleague set against the visiting San Francisco Giants.
San Diego at St. Louis 8:15 PM ET
Texas at LA Angels 10:05 PM ET
Hector Santiago hasn't allowed an earned run in his last three outings and attempts to win his fourth consecutive start when the Los Angeles Angels host the Texas Rangers on Wednesday for the finale of their three-game series. Santiago has yielded one unearned run and 12 hits in 20 innings during the sizzling stretch to carve a full run off his earned run average.
