Baltimore at NY Yankees 7:05 PM ET
The Baltimore Orioles have dropped back-to-back contests against the fifth- and fourth-place teams in the American League East to see their division lead dwindle to just 1 1/2 games. The Orioles look to get back on track when they play the second contest of their four-game series versus the host New York Yankees on Tuesday.
NY Mets at Chi. Cubs 7:05 PM ET

The "friendly confines" of Wrigley Field have been anything but kind to the New York Mets. The Mets have lost eight straight regular-season road games to the Chicago Cubs, a streak they’ll try to break in the second contest of a three-game set Tuesday.

LA Dodgers at Washington 7:05 PM ET
The Washington Nationals got a well-deserved day off on Monday after battling for 18 innings only to fall 2-1 to the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Nationals will try to shake off the sting of that setback and return to the business of increasing their lead in the National League East when they host the Los Angeles Dodgers in the opener of a three-games series on Tuesday.
Miami at Philadelphia 7:05 PM ET
The Miami Marlins continue to swim in the right direction with wins in six of their last seven contests while the Philadelphia Phillies are treading water in the shallow end of the pool. Manager Don Mattingly's upstart charges look to improve their position at the expense of their National League East rivals on Tuesday when the teams play the second contest of their four-game series at Citizens Bank Park.
Milwaukee at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET
A series in Washington that could have been a disaster was saved in the 18th inning Sunday, and the Pittsburgh Pirates will try to build off the momentum of that victory when they host the Milwaukee Brewers in the opener of a three-game series on Tuesday. The Pirates got Monday off after battling to the 2-1 victory, which avoided a three-game sweep.
San Francisco at Boston 7:10 PM ET
The San Francisco Giants still own the best record in the majors but came out of the All-Star break a little sluggish while getting swept in a three-game series at San Diego. Things don’t get any easier when the road trip moves across the country for the start of a quick two-game series at the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday.
Minnesota at Detroit 7:10 PM ET
The Detroit Tigers have received some solid pitching since the All-Star break to win three of four games and look to continue the trend when they host the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday night. The Tigers have allowed five runs in their three wins over the last four days and turn to veteran right-hander Anibal Sanchez in the second of a three-game series against the American League-worst Twins.
Atlanta at Cincinnati 7:10 PM ET
The Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds are struggling through miserable seasons, but the two worst teams in the National League send pitchers to the mound Tuesday who could play a key role in the near future. Cody Reed – ranked as the Reds’ third-best prospect according to MLB.com – makes his sixth major-league start for host Cincinnati, while the Braves counter with Tyrell Jenkins – Atlanta’s minor-league pitcher of the year in 2015 who gets his second career start.
Cleveland at Kansas City 8:15 PM ET
The Cleveland Indians may be comfortably atop the American League Central, but the Kansas City Royals have dominated their division foes when they visit Kauffman Stadium. The defending World Series-champion Royals vie for their 16th win in 18 encounters with visiting AL Central rivals on Tuesday, when they play the middle contest of their three-game series against the Indians.
San Diego at St. Louis 8:15 PM ET
St. Louis Cardinals infielder Jedd Gyorko has feasted on San Diego Padres pitching this year and will try to pick on his former team again Tuesday, when the teams continue their four-game series in St. Louis. Gyorko, who was traded from the Padres to the Cardinals in December for outfielder Jon Jay, went 3-for-3 with a solo home run to highlight a 10-2 win in the series opener on Monday.
Tampa Bay at Colorado 8:40 PM ET
The Colorado Rockies look to even their record at home and win for the fourth time in five games since the All-Star break when they host the struggling Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday. The Rockies improved to 21-22 with a 7-4 victory over the Rays on Monday in the opener of their three-game set as Trevor Story continued his standout rookie season with his 22nd homer.
Toronto at Arizona 9:40 PM ET
After avoiding a sweep at one team currently in last place, the Toronto Blue Jays seek success at the home of another cellar dweller when they begin a two-game interleague set against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday. The Blue Jays won eight of nine before the All-Star break but suffered back-to-back one-run losses at Oakland to begin the second half.
Houston at Oakland 10:05 PM ET
The Oakland Athletics look to continue their recent strong play at home when they host the Houston Astros on Tuesday for the middle contest of their three-game series. Oakland improved to 3-1 on its post-break 10-game homestand with Monday's 7-4 triumph in which it erased a deficit with a five-run fourth inning highlighted by Yonder Alonso's two-run single.
Texas at LA Angels 10:05 PM ET
Much like his team, Texas Rangers rookie Nomar Mazara is struggling to rediscover his sizzling early-season form. Mazara and the first-place Rangers will look to get untracked Tuesday as they continue their three-game series against the host Los Angeles Angels, who have won eight of their last 10.
Chi. White Sox at Seattle 10:10 PM ET
The Chicago White Sox attempt to put an end to their losing streak when they visit the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday for the middle contest of their three-game series. Chicago finally scored some runs in the opener but saw its skid reach five games as closer David Robertson was unable to preserve a 3-0 lead in the ninth inning.
