Texas at NY Yankees 1:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees rallied to avoid another stinging defeat and will try for their first winning streak in nearly two weeks when they continue a three-game series against the visiting Texas Rangers on Saturday. Losers of eight of their last nine entering Friday's series opener, the Yankees were down to their last two outs before Brett Gardner clubbed a game-tying solo homer to force extra innings.
Oakland at Chi. White Sox 2:10 PM ET
The Oakland Athletics have struggled away from home all season long and hope to begin turning things around on this road trip after putting together a strong performance in the opener. The Athletics look to follow up a shutout victory when they visit the struggling Chicago White Sox on Saturday for the middle contest of a three-game series.
Toronto at Kansas City 2:15 PM ET
The Kansas City Royals and the Toronto Blue Jays both came into the season with playoff aspirations before rough starts pushed them back in the standings, and both are trying to make their way forward again. The Royals have the benefit of owning the hottest pitcher in the league, and Jason Vargas will take the mound when they host the Blue Jays in the second of a three-game set on Saturday.
Cincinnati at Washington 4:05 PM ET
Things haven’t been going well for the Cincinnati Reds in the pitching department this season, but there is some reason for optimism. The Reds will welcome back veteran right-hander Homer Bailey on Saturday when they visit the Washington Nationals for the second of a three-game series.
Baltimore at Tampa Bay 4:10 PM ET
The Tampa Bay Rays look to follow up their offensive onslaught in the series opener and earn their sixth win in seven games when they host the struggling Baltimore Orioles on Saturday afternoon. Logan Morrison belted his team-leading 22nd homer and knocked in three runs while Evan Longoria along with newly-recalled Shane Peterson had four RBIs apiece in Tampa Bay’s 15-5 rout Friday.
Chi. Cubs at Miami 4:10 PM ET

The Chicago Cubs were remarkably consistent during their dominant run to the World Series title a year ago considering their youth, but this season’s roller-coaster ride has been more typical of a team reliant on young talent. After offensive performances on both ends of the spectrum in the first two games of the series, the Cubs visit the Miami Marlins for the third of a four-game set Saturday afternoon.

Milwaukee at Atlanta 4:10 PM ET
Even though Brandon Phillips left Thursday’s game with a groin injury, he returned in a big way Friday to help the Atlanta Braves win the series opener against the Milwaukee Brewers. Atlanta hosts Milwaukee in the middle game Saturday and its second baseman figures to make an impact again after Phillips hit a double and a homer in Friday’s 5-4 victory, raising his average since May 16 to .328 with 18 extra-base hits.
Minnesota at Cleveland 4:10 PM ET
The Minnesota Twins tentatively ended their struggles with Cleveland and strive to defeat the host Indians for the second straight day on Saturday. Minnesota posted a 5-0 victory in the opener of the three-game set after losing four straight home games to the Indians last week and eight of the first 10 meetings.
LA Angels at Boston 7:15 PM ET
Xander Bogaerts has taken on a starring role in the middle of the lineup following the retirement of David Ortiz, and he finds himself in the midst of a stretch that would make even "Big Papi" proud. After driving in his 34th run of the season on the same night the Boston retired Ortiz's No. 34 jersey, the 2016 All-Star eyes his fifth multi-hit game in six outings Saturday when the Red Sox continue a three-game home series versus the Los Angeles Angels.
NY Mets at San Francisco 7:15 PM ET
The New York Mets are hoping to reverse their fortunes after beginning their 10-game road trip in forgettable fashion. They started the process in the series opener against the San Francisco Giants and look to continue it Saturday in the middle contest of the three-game set.
Pittsburgh at St. Louis 7:15 PM ET
After winding up on the wrong end of three consecutive one-run games in their first visit to St. Louis, the Pittsburgh Pirates turned to an ex-Cardinal in order to end their recent struggles at Busch Stadium. David Freese hopes to haunt his former team yet again Saturday as his Pirates continue their three-game series in St. Louis.
Colorado at LA Dodgers 10:10 PM ET
The streaking Los Angeles Dodgers have won eight straight games and 14 of their last 15, but they received a scare Friday as star shortstop Corey Seager exited the contest in the second inning with a right hamstring cramp. Seager figures to be out of the lineup Saturday as the Dodgers continue their three-game series against the visiting Colorado Rockies, who have dropped three in a row.
Houston at Seattle 10:10 PM ET
The Seattle Mariners are one of the hottest teams in baseball and look for their seventh consecutive victory when they host the Houston Astros on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game series. Seattle experienced few issues in the opener against the team with the best record in the majors by drubbing Houston 13-3 on Friday.
Philadelphia at Arizona 10:10 PM ET
The Philadelphia Phillies got off to a nice start on their nine-game road trip and look to keep it going when they visit the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday for the second contest of their four-game series. Philadelphia used some late power to post a 6-1 triumph in the opener, ending its seven-game slide on the road.
Detroit at San Diego 10:10 PM ET
The Detroit Tigers are in the midst of a season-worst seven-game slide and aim to end their woes when they visit the San Diego Padres on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game series. Detroit managed just three hits in its latest hapless effort while dropping nine games under .500 on the season and to 14-25 on the road.
