Colorado at Cincinnati 12:35 PM ET
Having finally put an end to their longest losing streak in 17 years, the Cincinnati Reds look to end a string of three series losses when they host the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday in the rubber match of a three-game set. The Reds squeezed out a 2-1 walk-off victory Tuesday to halt a nine-game skid - their longest since an 11-game drought in 1998.
Miami at Pittsburgh 12:35 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Pirates attempt to complete their second consecutive three-game sweep when they host the Miami Marlins in the finale of their series Wednesday afternoon. After losing six of seven contests, Pittsburgh outscored the New York Mets 21-4 in their three-game set before limiting Miami to a total of three runs in their first two contests.
Chi. White Sox at Toronto 12:37 PM ET
Josh Donaldson and the Toronto Blue Jays have their offense cranking and will go for a three-game sweep of the visiting Chicago White Sox on Wednesday afternoon. Donaldson slammed a pair of homers and capped a 4-for-4 night with a three-run walk-off blast to lift Toronto to a dramatic 10-9 victory Tuesday night.
Kansas City at NY Yankees 1:05 PM ET
The Kansas City Royals appear to be the cure for whatever was ailing the New York Yankees. The Yankees attempt to complete a three-game sweep and earn their fourth win in the last 14 games – all over the Royals – when they host Kansas City in the series finale on Wednesday afternoon.
Boston at Minnesota 1:10 PM ET
The Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins will find out which team can recover faster when they play the finale of their three-game series at Target Field on Wednesday afternoon. The start of Tuesday’s 2-1 triumph by Minnesota was delayed nearly 90 minutes due to rain, and the contest did not finish until after 11 p.m. local time - leaving the teams with 13 hours to recover before the 12:10 p.m. local start.
Seattle at Tampa Bay 1:10 PM ET
Seattle has a great shot at a road sweep when it sends Felix Hernandez to the mound in the finale of a three-game series at Tampa Bay on Wednesday afternoon. The Mariners have won eight of nine games started by Hernandez, who owns a 2.12 ERA in 13 career starts against the Rays.
Philadelphia at NY Mets 1:10 PM ET
The New York Mets are off to their best home start in franchise history and their success against the Philadelphia Phillies is among the reasons why. New York, which has won seven of eight overall versus the Phillies and all five meetings at Citi Field this season, looks to complete a three-game home sweep in Wednesday's series finale.
San Francisco at Milwaukee 1:40 PM ET
Mike Fiers will start on short rest to temporarily compensate for the loss of Wily Peralta as the Milwaukee Brewers conclude their three-game series against the visiting San Francisco Giants on Wednesday afternoon. With Peralta landing on the disabled list due to a strained oblique, Fiers will pitch on three days’ rest to give Milwaukee more time to decide which minor-league hurler to promote.
Detroit at Oakland 3:35 PM ET
Detroit needed just one run to halt a three-game losing streak and looks to win the series from Oakland when it visits the Athletics in Wednesday’s finale of a three-game set. The teams have traded shutout victories with Oakland winning the opener 4-0 before the Tigers rebounded with Tuesday’s 1-0 win.
Houston at Baltimore 4:35 PM ET
The Houston Astros try to claim a series victory and a winning road trip when they visit the Baltimore Orioles for the rubber match of the three-game set on Wednesday. Houston evened the series and became the first team to reach 30 wins with a 4-1 triumph Tuesday.
Washington at Chi. Cubs 8:05 PM ET

Two of the most coveted free-agent pitchers of last offseason square off Wednesday at Wrigley Field. Washington Nationals right-hander Max Scherzer aims to win his fifth consecutive start while Chicago Cubs left-hander Jon Lester hopes to claim his fifth straight decision when the teams conclude their three-game series.

Arizona at St. Louis 8:15 PM ET
Matt Holliday tied a franchise record and the St. Louis Cardinals continued to win at home, but the National League Central leaders did not leave their last game in a celebratory mood. After losing cleanup hitter Matt Adams to a right quadriceps injury on Tuesday, the Cardinals hope to move forward without him one day later when they look to complete a three-game sweep of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
San Diego at LA Angels 10:05 PM ET
Matt Kemp’s bat has been on hiatus and San Diego is hoping one big decisive hit will help him crank up the lumber. Kemp hit a three-run double to snap a scoreless tie as the Padres beat the host Los Angeles Angels 4-0 on Tuesday, and they will try to claim the three-game set Wednesday.
Atlanta at LA Dodgers 10:10 PM ET
Los Angeles is difficult to defeat at Dodger Stadium, and no one knows this better than the Atlanta Braves. Los Angeles on Wednesday tries to improve its major league-best home record to 22-6 and defeat Atlanta for the ninth time in the last 10 meetings at Chavez Ravine when it goes for a sweep of the Braves in the finale of their three-game series.
