April 19, 2015
Atlanta at Toronto 1:07 PM ET
The Toronto Blue Jays have managed to lose a game this weekend in which they hit five home runs, and win a contest in which they hit into five double plays. The Blue Jays host the Atlanta Braves in Sunday’s rubber game looking to build off Saturday’s 6-5 victory in 10 innings, capped by Josh Donaldson’s third homer of the series.
Chi. White Sox at Detroit 1:08 PM ET
Shane Greene looks to keep alive an impressive early season run as he leads host Detroit into the rubber match of a three-game set with the Chicago White Sox on Sunday. Greene, acquired from New York in a three-team trade this offseason, has helped the Tigers get past the departure of Max Scherzer and the injury to Justin Verlander with two outstanding starts out of the gate.
NY Yankees at Tampa Bay 1:10 PM ET
The New York Yankees look to continue their offensive upswing and finish a three-game series sweep when they visit the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday afternoon. Brian McCann and Chris Young provided the key hits as the Yankees hammered the Rays 9-0 on Saturday and pushed their total to 42 runs over the last six games while winning four of those contests.
Miami at NY Mets 1:10 PM ET
The New York Mets haven’t posted a winning record at Citi Field since 2010, but their four-year run of futility at the venue appears to be coming to an end. The Mets attempt to match their best start at home in team history since going 6-0 in 1985 on Sunday when they look to complete a four-game sweep of the Miami Marlins.
Baltimore at Boston 1:35 PM ET
The Baltimore Orioles have managed to hold the powerful Boston Red Sox to a total of four runs in the first two contests of their four-game set. The Orioles attempt to match those pitching efforts and take the series lead when they visit the Red Sox again on Sunday.
Milwaukee at Pittsburgh 1:35 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Pirates look to continue their early-season mastery of the Milwaukee Brewers when they go for a sweep of their three-game home series on Sunday. The Pirates have won four of five against their National League Central Division rivals and have rolled up at least six runs in each of the victories.
Philadelphia at Washington 1:35 PM ET
The Philadelphia Phillies have only managed four wins so far this season, and three of those have come at the expense of the Washington Nationals. The Phillies will try to earn a split of the four-game series with their National League East rivals when they visit the Nationals for the finale of a four-game set on Sunday.
Cleveland at Minnesota 2:10 PM ET
The Minnesota Twins aim for their second straight series win when they host the Cleveland Indians in the rubber match of their three-game set Sunday. After beginning the home portion of its schedule by taking two of three from Kansas City, Minnesota captured the opener against Cleveland in 11 innings before suffering a 4-2 loss on Saturday.
LA Angels at Houston 2:10 PM ET
Garrett Richards will make his first start in eight months for the visiting Los Angeles Angels on Sunday in the finale of their three-game series against the Houston Astros. Richards was sailing along with a 13-4 record last year when he suffered a ruptured left patellar tendon while covering first base against Boston on Aug. 20, an injury that required season-ending surgery.
Oakland at Kansas City 2:10 PM ET
The Oakland Athletics and Kansas City Royals meet Sunday in what could be a spirited rubber match of their three-game series after a hard slide and a retaliatory hit batsman occurred in the first two contests. Oakland on Saturday recorded its fifth shutout in 12 games this season with a 5-0 victory, but not before Kansas City starter Yordano Ventura was ejected for hitting Brett Lawrie with a pitch in the fourth inning.
San Diego at Chi. Cubs 2:20 PM ET

The Chicago Cubs are still waiting for a positive contribution from their biggest offseason acquisition, as ace Jon Lester aims for his first win with his new team when the Cubs host the San Diego Padres on Sunday. It's the rubber match of a three-game set after the teams split a pair of one-run contests.

Arizona at San Francisco 4:05 PM ET
The San Francisco Giants close their season-opening stretch of 14 games in 14 days with Sunday’s series finale against the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks. The Giants snapped an eight-game losing streak Saturday with a 4-1 victory behind rookie Chris Heston, who recorded his third straight quality start.
Texas at Seattle 4:10 PM ET
The Seattle Mariners have ended a four-game losing streak and attempt to win the series from Texas when they host the Rangers in Sunday’s finale of a three-game set. Seattle received a superb outing from Felix Hernandez to post a 3-1 victory Saturday and is counting on James Paxton to bounce back from a subpar performance in his last turn.
Colorado at LA Dodgers 4:10 PM ET
To say Adrian Gonzalez is off to a fast start would be an understatement as the Los Angeles first baseman looks to continue his assault on pitching Sunday when the Dodgers try for a three-game sweep of the visiting Colorado Rockies. Gonzalez leads the majors in batting average (.523) and RBIs (14) while pacing the National League with five homers after driving in three runs in Los Angeles' 6-3 victory Saturday, Colorado's eighth straight loss at Dodger Stadium.
Cincinnati at St. Louis 8:05 PM ET

The St. Louis Cardinals are taking the bite out of their rivalry with the Cincinnati Reds. The Cardinals already have assured they will win their 14th consecutive three-game series against the Reds, but they'll try to finish off the sweep Sunday at Busch Stadium.
