Sam Morin scored his first career goal, Nolan Patrick added one goal and the host Philadelphia Flyers defeated the New York Rangers 2-1 on Saturday.
Flyers goaltender Brian Elliott made 24 saves as they halted a four-game losing streak.
Philadelphia was outscored 17-3 in the previous two losses to the Rangers.
Mika Zibanejad scored the lone goal for the Rangers. Zibanejad has 13 points -- seven goals and six assists -- in the last three games against the Flyers.
Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin stopped 35 shots.
Zibanejad stayed hot and gave the Rangers a 1-0 lead on the power play at 10:54 of the first period. He was wide open behind the defense and tapped Adam Fox's pass into the net.
The Flyers had plenty of scoring chances in the first and nearly tied the game at 17:58 after James van Riemsdyk redirected a slap shot by Phil Myers. Shesterkin continued to his strong play and pounced on the puck.
Philadelphia's Kevin Hayes drew a penalty on Chris Kreider at 10:12 of the second. Forty-three seconds later, the Flyers went on a two-man advantage when Shayne Gostisbehere was taken down.
The Flyers tied the game at a goal apiece at 12:52 when Patrick deflected Gostisbehere's shot into the net with three seconds left on the power play.
New York earned a late power play, but the Rangers weren't able to generate much pressure and the period ended.
Scott Laughton skated free on a breakaway with 5:36 left in the third, but Shesterkin moved across the crease to deny the backhand.
The Rangers controlled the offensive tempo for several minutes. When Artemi Panarin was knocked to the ice by Laughton at 9:45, they picked up another power play. The Flyers killed off the power play to keep the game tied.
The Flyers moved ahead 2-1 at 15:33 when Morin scored his first career goal with a slap shot from the point.
