Zach Parise, defenseman Jared Spurgeon, Thomas Vanek and Jason Zucker each scored a goal for the Wild, who completed a road sweep of Western Canada. Dubnyk made 17 of his saves in the third period to hold off the unrelenting Canucks.

Ronalds Kenins scored his first career goal in his second NHL game and Daniel Sedin also tallied for Vancouver, which lost for the third time in four contests. Ryan Miller stopped 16 shots while making his seventh straight start.

Parise opened the scoring 7:26 into the second period when his centering pass deflected in off a Canucks player. Spurgeon made it 2-0 on a power play exactly two minutes later with a blast from the top of the left faceoff circle.

Vanek extending Minnesota’s lead 7:08 into the third period with a slap shot on a rush that beat Miller to the blocker side. Kenins and Sedin scored goals 61 seconds apart to pull the Canucks within one with 6:39 remaining in the contest, but Dubnyk shut the door until Zucker iced the contest with an empty-net tally.
