Jets 2, Stars 1: Ondrej Pavelec made 46 saves - including 22 in the second period - and Evander Kane scored for the third straight game as visiting Winnipeg improved to 3-0-1 in its last four contests.

Michael Frolik's goal early in the first period extended his point streak to four games for the Jets, who improved to 13-5-5 on the road. Mathieu Perreault notched an assist to stretch his point run to five contests.

Defenseman Trevor Daley scored from the left faceoff circle with 1:16 remaining in the third period to spoil Pavelec's bid for his 13th career shutout. Anders Lindback turned aside 20 shots and Dallas failed on all seven power-play opportunities en route to suffering its fifth loss in six games (1-3-2).

Pavelec maintained his team's slim one-goal lead in the second period by stopping Jason Spezza before denying captain Jamie Benn's numerous attempts from the right doorstep. Daley broke through with Lindback pulled for an extra attacker, but Pavelec held the fort to preserve the win.

Perreault skated into the right corner before sliding the puck from below the end line to Frolik on the doorstep 3:53 into the first period. The Stars looked for the equalizer after Blake Wheeler received a double-minor for high-sticking early in the third, but Kane sidestepped Daley and poked home a loose puck in front at 7:34 to give Winnipeg a 2-0 lead.
