Senators 4, Canadiens 1: Jean-Gabriel Pageau scored a goal and set up another as Ottawa halted Montreal's six-game road winning streak.

Max Pacioretty extended his goal-scoring streak to six games for the Canadiens, who went 0-for-4 on the power play after converting three times in the third period of Wednesday's victory at Columbus. Dustin Tokarski made 31 saves in his first start since Dec. 30.

Ottawa grabbed an early lead as Zibanejad knocked in the rebound of Mike Hoffman's one-timer from above the slot 69 seconds into the contest. The Canadiens pulled even with 5:25 remaining in the opening period, when Pacioretty wristed the puck between Anderson's pads from high in the left faceoff circle.

Pageau put the Senators ahead less than two minutes later, firing a loose puck on the doorstep past Tokarski after a scramble in front of the net. Karlsson doubled the lead at 2:16 of the middle session as he beat the netminder with a blast from the top of the slot during a rush and Condra sealed the win with an empty-net goal in the final minute of the third.
