Lightning 2, Wild 1: Alex Killorn scored a goal in his fourth consecutive contest as Tampa Bay held off visiting Minnesota to snap a two-game slide.

Captain Steven Stamkos scored his 14th goal of the campaign and defenseman Anton Stralman chipped in with a pair of assists for the Lightning. Ben Bishop turned aside 30 shots – 12 in the third period – for his 12th victory as Tampa Bay avenged a 7-2 loss to the Wild on Oct. 25.

Zach Parise scored his third goal in three contests since returning from a concussion for Minnesota, which saw its season-high four-game winning streak come to an end. Darcy Kuemper made 26 saves for the Wild, who could not convert on a power play in the final 1:17 of the third period.

Minnesota took advantage of a turnover as Parise slid the puck into the net after a give-and-go with Thomas Vanek to open the scoring 3:11 into the second session. Stamkos tied it on the power play with a low shot from the right circle through a Ryan Callahan screen 10:31 later.

Killorn kept the puck in the zone and went to the net to redirect Stralman’s shot past Kuemper to give the Lightning a 2-1 lead with 1:53 left in the middle period. Bishop made a big save on Nino Niederreiter from the slot early in the third period after two Lightning players broke their sticks.
