Blues 4, Predators 3: Paul Stastny scored the tiebreaking goal with just under six minutes left in the third period as host St. Louis moved past Nashville and into first place in the Central Division.

Red-hot Vladimir Tarasenko and defenseman Carl Gunnarsson each recorded a goal and an assist while T.J. Oshie scored on the power play in his return to the lineup as the Blues improved to 9-0-1 in their last 10 and avenged Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Predators. Jori Lehtera collected a pair of assists and Jake Allen made 22 saves to win his fourth consecutive start.

Rookie sensation Filip Forsberg extended his goal-scoring streak to six games with one tally and two assists while captain Shea Weber added one of each for Nashville, which had its three-game winning streak snapped. Defenseman Roman Josi matched Forsberg with a goal and two assists while Pekka Rinne turned aside 23 shots for the Predators.

The Blues grabbed a 2-0 lead when a video review showed Gunnarson's left-point shot crossed the goal line, but Forsberg quelled the crowd's celebration with a wrister from the right faceoff circle 36 seconds later. Weber tied it 3:41 into the second, blasting a slap shot from the top of the right circle into the top left corner of the net.

Tarasenko reclaimed the lead for St. Louis 11 1/2 minutes later, cutting toward the middle before unleashing a wrist shot that went between the legs of Nashville's Gabriel Bourque and off the glove of Rinne, but Josi netted the equalizer with a blast from the point during a power play with four-tenths of a second left in the period. The Blues finally broke the deadlock when Stastny reached out in the high slot to barely clip defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk's blast past Rinne.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Oshie, who had missed seven games after suffering a concussion on Oct. 28, opened the scoring on a power play 3:25 into the game, beating Rinne with a straight-on wrist shot. ... Forsberg tied the franchise record for the longest goal-scoring streak shared by Patric Hornqvist (2011), Alexander Radulov (2008) and J.P. Dumont (2008) and set the team's rookie mark with his seven-game point run. ... Tarasenko has scored six goals during his seven-game point streak while Lehtera has collected 10 points during his six-game stretch.
