Bruins 5, Oilers 2: Defenseman Dougie Hamilton collected a goal and two assists in a span of 2:34 in the third period as host Boston defeated Edmonton for the 13th consecutive time.

Carl Soderberg, Loui Eriksson and Reilly Smith recorded one of each and Milan Lucic added an empty-net tally in his 500th career game for the Bruins, who have won a season-high four in a row overall. Tuukka Rask finished with 24 saves in the victory.

Mark Arcobello and Boyd Gordon scored for the Oilers, who have dropped four in a row overall, are 0-4-1 on the road and have lost nine with one tie in their last 10 visits to Boston. Ben Scrivens turned aside 27 shots in falling to 0-4-0 lifetime versus the Bruins.

After Arcobello scored from the right faceoff circle at 1:44 of the third period to give Edmonton a 2-1 lead, Boston erupted for three goals in short order to turn the tide. Eriksson cleaned up a loose puck in the slot at 11:04 to forge a tie, a sliding Soderberg one-timed Patrice Bergeron's centering feed past Scrivens at 12:29 to give the Bruins their first lead and Hamilton converted a give-and-go from the left circle at 13:38.

With his team on a four-minute power play, Gordon cleaned up the rebound of defenseman Justin Schultz's shot from the point with 5:11 remaining in the first period to open the scoring. Smith answered less than four minutes later by breezing into the offensive zone and wristing a shot from above the right circle that sailed under the crossbar for his third goal of the season.
