Ducks 2, Kings 1: Patrick Maroon was credited with the winning goal with just over eight minutes left in the second period as visiting Anaheim reclaimed sole possession of first place in the Pacific Division.

Tim Jackman scored his fourth goal and Maroon netted his sixth when his attempted pass caromed into the net off a Los Angeles defender as the Ducks completed an impressive back-to-back on the road with wins over Colorado and the Kings. Frederik Andersen turned aside 37 shots as Anaheim moved two points clear of San Jose in the division and closed within two points of St. Louis in the Presidents' Trophy race.

Tyler Toffoli connected on the power play for Los Angeles, which had an apparent tying goal by Anze Kopitar waved off with just under 6 1/2 minutes to play. Martin Jones made 18 saves as the Kings lost their second in a row following an eight-game winning streak.

Anaheim, which set a franchise record by by scoring six second-period goals in Friday's win at Colorado, got the only tally of the first period from its fourth line when Jackman converted a pass from Mathieu Perreault in close 13 minutes into the game. The Kings pulled even on the power play just past the midway point of the second period when Toffoli tapped home a rebound of Jarret Stoll's shot into an open net.

The tie was short-lived as the Ducks responded 51 seconds later when Maroon's attempted pass from behind the net caromed off the skate of sliding defenseman Jake Muzzin and past Jones. Kopitar appeared to get the equalizer in the third when his shot crossed the goal line but it was waved off and upheld upon video review due to Marian Gaborik making incidental contact with Andersen - prompting the home fans to litter the ice in protest.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Maroon's tally ended an 11-game goalless drought while Toffoli scored for the first time since Feb. 3. ... Ducks D Cam Fowler sat out due to a lower-body injury sustained in Friday's win at Colorado. ... Kings G Jonathan Quick served as the backup and captain Dustin Brown was not in the lineup. Both missed practice Friday due to the flu.
