Blue Jackets 4, Stars 2: Artem Anisimov tallied twice to extend his goal-scoring streak to four games and lift host Columbus to its third straight victory.

Boone Jenner and R.J. Umberger scored during a three-goal first period as the Blue Jackets won for the sixth time in nine games (6-2-1). Sergei Bobrovsky turned aside 31 shots to improve to 5-0-1 lifetime against Dallas.

Defensemen Alex Goligoski and Trevor Daley scored 1:43 apart early in the third period for the Stars, who dropped to 5-2-1 in their last eight. Dan Ellis, making his first start since Feb. 1, finished with 16 saves.

The Blue Jackets jumped on the Stars from the outset, taking the lead 74 seconds into the game as Jenner whistled a high wrist shot from the top of the left faceoff circle past Ellis. Columbus doubled the lead 10 minutes later, when Brandon Dubinsky lost control of the puck on a rush, only to have it poked toward the slot to an unguarded Umberger for an easy conversion.

Anisimov continued his torrid streak with five minutes left in the period, gathering a loose puck in front and sliding a backhander past Ellis for a 3-0 advantage - which also started a span of 22:54 without a shot for Columbus. Dallas rallied with a pair of goals in the opening 3 1/2 minutes of the third as Goligoski buried a rebound and Daley redirected a blast from defenseman Sergei Gonchar to cut it to 3-2, but Anisimov struck again with 4:07 left to round out the scoring.
