Blue Jackets 4, Panthers 1: Boone Jenner and Ryan Johansen each recorded a goal and an assist as host Columbus beat Florida for the sixth consecutive time.

Nick Foligno and Mark Letestu also tallied to help lift the Blue Jackets to their 11th win in 15 games (11-4-0). Nathan Horton collected two assists and Sergei Bobrovsky turned aside 35 shots to improve to 11-2-0 in his last 13 starts.

Brad Boyes scored the lone goal for the Panthers, who dropped the final three contests of their four-game road trip by a combined 16-6 score. Tim Thomas made 26 saves as he surrendered at least three tallies for the seventh consecutive game.

Columbus scored goals 2 1/2 minutes apart late in the opening period, with Johansen skating behind the end line and slipping the puck under a sprawled Thomas to set up Jenner for a tap-in on the doorstep. Jenner returned the favor with 1:58 left in the session, drawing Thomas out before delivering a spinning backhand pass from the left faceoff circle to Johansen, who converted from alone in front for his third tally in two games.

Boyes scored for the third time in four contests just over 7 1/2 minutes into the middle session, when his shot from the left circle deflected off the stick of Columbus defenseman David Savard and into the net, but Foligno restored the two-goal advantage 10 minutes later with a wrister that Thomas appeared to stop but let trickle past him. Letestu put it out of reach with his eighth goal midway through the third.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Foligno's 13th goal ended a nine-game drought and moved him within four of matching his career high set in 2008-09 with Ottawa. ... Boyes extended his point streak to four games for Florida, which failed to convert on three power-play chances and is 1-for-52 with the man advantage over its last 16 games. ... Panthers rookie C Aleksander Barkov returned to the lineup after missing four games with a knee injury.
