Senators 3, Wild 0: Robin Lehner turned aside 27 shots for his first shutout of the season and Clarke MacArthur scored for the fifth time in six games as visiting Ottawa toppled Minnesota.

Playing for the first time since Dec. 27, Lehner made 14 saves in the third period to earn his second career shutout as the Senators extended their point streak to seven games (6-0-1). Kyle Turris recorded a goal an assist, Erik Condra scored his fifth and defenseman Erik Karlsson set up a pair of tallies for Ottawa.

Darcy Kuemper, who earned his first career shutout Sunday against Nashville, made 29 saves for Minnesota. The Wild, who had scored at least four goals in four of the previous six games, went 0-of-3 on the power play and were shut out for the third time this season.

The Senators had a 15-3 edge in shots during the first period and took a 1-0 lead when MacArthur redirected Turris' cross-ice pass into the net at 13:06 on the power play. Minnesota picked up its play in the second period and earned a power-play chance, but Lehner stopped all 10 shots he faced.

Defenseman Marco Scandella snapped his stick on a shot at the left point and Condra sped away with the puck on a breakaway to score 5:55 into the third session. Turris added an insurance goal on the power play when his blast from the left circle beat Kuemper through a screen with 2:22 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Ottawa C Zack Smith went 16-5 in the faceoff circle. … Minnesota D Ryan Suter played 28:32 and blocked three shots. … The Senators, who registered their third shutout of the season, scratched Ds Eric Gryba and Joe Corvo along with C Jean-Gabriel Pageau.
