Senators 4, Canadiens 3 (OT): Clarke MacArthur buried a wrist shot from the right faceoff circle during a power play 58 seconds into overtime to lift visiting Ottawa to its fourth straight win.

Erik Condra had a goal and an assist while Colin Greening and Mark Stone also scored for the Senators, who won for the first time in five road contests. Craig Anderson made 26 saves in his fourth consecutive start.

Daniel Briere scored twice and added an assist after being a healthy scratch for two games for Montreal, which fell to 0-1-1 against Ottawa. Captain Brian Gionta also scored and Carey Price stopped 30 shots.

Greening opened the scoring 13 seconds into the game, when he tapped home a cross-ice feed from Condra. Briere scored his first of the night 11:32 into the first period to knot the contest, but Stone scored on a backhand shot 2:18 later and Condra made it 3-1 just 14 seconds after that.

Briere took a pass below the end line and tucked the puck into the corner of the net 1:57 into the third period for his second tally. Gionta banged home the rebound of Briere's shot 2:49 later to knot it at 3-3, but Montreal defenseman P.K. Subban was called for hooking with 19 seconds remaining in regulation, leading to MacArthur’s winner.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Briere had not recorded a point in 10 games before being a healthy scratch. … Ottawa improved to 10-4-3 against Atlantic Division opponents. … MacArthur has scored in each of the Senators’ last three games.
