Canucks 6, Bruins 2: Captain Henrik Sedin recorded a goal and an assist as host Vancouver extended its winning streak to seven games.

Jannik Hansen, David Booth and Chris Higgins also tallied for the Canucks, who completed a perfect five-game homestand. Defensemen Yanick Weber and Chris Tanev each added a goal while Roberto Luongo made 39 saves en route to his second win in two nights.

Reilly Smith scored both goals for the Bruins, who wrapped up a 3-1-0 road trip. Tuukka Rask allowed four goals on 23 shots before being replaced by Chad Johnson, who finished with five saves.

Hansen began the scoring with a fluke goal late in the first period, unleashing a slap shot from center ice that glanced off Boston captain Zdeno Chara's stick and bounced past Rask. Smith buried a backhander at 4:11 of the second to knot the contest, but Vancouver went ahead for good 80 seconds later on Booth's shot from the left faceoff circle.

Higgins made it 3-1 just 3:15 afterward and Weber buried a one-timer from the blue line 94 seconds into the third to chase Rask. Sedin cashed in on a power-play chance with a blast from the left circle at 4:02 and Tanev converted a pass from Mike Santorelli during a short-handed 2-on-1 rush midway through the session for a commanding 6-1 advantage.
