Maple Leafs 7, Blackhawks 3: Joffrey Lupul collected two goals and two assists and Peter Holland scored twice and set up another as host Toronto rolled up a season-high goal total in its first win over Chicago in more than 10 1/2 years.

Jerry D'Amigo had his first career goal and two-point performance and Nikolai Kulemin and Phil Kessel also scored as the Maple Leafs halted a three-game skid and snapped the Blackhawks' three-game win streak. Jonathan Bernier turned aside 25 shots and Mason Raymond collected four assists as Toronto beat Chicago for the first time since February 2003.

Red-hot Patrick Kane had a pair of goals for his fourth straight multiple-point contest and Brandon Saad also scored for the Blackhawks, who had outscored their opponents 19-6 in their previous three games. Rookie Antti Raanta allowed four of his five goals in the second period before he was replaced by Kent Simpson in the third to absorb his first career regulation defeat (5-1-1).

Holland and Kane traded power-play tallies in the first period before the Maple Leafs seized control in the middle session. D'Amigo had an easy tap-in of a rebound 42 seconds into the period and Holland registered his first career two-goal game by burying a backhand feed from Raymond at 12:09.

Kane struck again 1:21 later - his 12th goal and 33rd point in 21 games - but Kulemin answered only 66 seconds later on a tip-in before Lupul converted on the power play 2 1/2 minutes later for a 5-2 edge. Lupul notched his second goal 28 seconds into the third, beating Simpson on the first NHL shot the rookie goaltender faced.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Kane extended his point streak to eight games and has at least one point in 20 of the last 21 contests. ... Maple Leafs F David Clarkson received a two-game suspension on Saturday for an illegal check to the head of St. Louis F Vladimir Sobotka in Thursday's game. ... Chicago acquired veteran G Jason LaBarbera from Edmonton in exchange for future considerations. LaBarbera, 33, was assigned to Rockford of the American Hockey League.
