Blue Jackets 1, Lightning 0: Nick Foligno scored his seventh goal on a nifty between-the-legs shot in the second period and host Columbus held on despite losing starting goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky to injury.

Bobrovsky made 18 saves before leaving early in the final period and Curtis McElhinney stopped all eight shots he faced in relief as the Blue Jackets recorded their second shutout of the season. Ryan Johansen set up the winning goal for his seventh point in five games.

Ben Bishop turned aside 20 shots for Tampa Bay, which was shut out for the second straight game. The Lightning were outshot 13-6 in the second period and finished 0-for-2 on the power play.

The Blue Jackets killed off a penalty and Bobrovsky stopped 10 shots to keep the game scoreless through one period. Johansen caused a turnover and backhanded a pass to Foligno, who fooled Bishop by putting the puck between his legs and flipping it past the netminder on the stick side 4 1/2 minutes into the second session.

Bobrovsky was hurt when he extended his body to make a big glove save on J.T. Brown’s breakaway try 4:13 into the third. Columbus killed off a penalty in the final five minutes and McElhinney made a big stop on Lightning captain Martin St. Louis' backhander with 1:23 left.
