Jets 5, Rangers 2: Olli Jokinen burned his former team by scoring twice in the third period as Winnipeg improved to 3-1-0 on its six-game road trip.

John Albert scored in his NHL debut and Devin Setoguchi netted his third goal in four games before notching an assist on the first tally by Jokinen, who also set up a score. Blake Wheeler added an empty-net goal, defenseman Jacob Trouba and Chris Thorburn each recorded two assists and Ondrej Pavelec finished with 35 saves for the Jets.

Mats Zuccarello and captain Ryan Callahan scored while defenseman Ryan McDonagh and Brad Richards each notched an assist to extend their respective point streaks to four games. Rookie Cam Talbot saw his six-start winning streak come to an end after turning aside 25 shots.

Winnipeg seized a 3-2 lead with 7:18 remaining in the third period as Setoguchi's pass caromed off the skate of Thorburn and the outside of the net before skidding out into the slot. Jokinen, who played 26 games for the Rangers during the 2009-10 season, wristed a shot past Talbot before providing insurance 5 1/2 minutes later. Talbot failed to control Jokinen's snap shot from the slot and the puck trickled into the net for his sixth goal of the season.

Defenseman Dustin Byfuglien intercepted a cross-ice pass by Derick Brassard and fed Albert, who skated in and wristed a shot past the blocker of Talbot to give the Jets a 2-1 lead exactly midway through the second period. Callahan forged a 2-2 tie nearly six minutes later, diving to poke home a loose puck in the crease.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Albert was taking the place of LW Evander Kane, who sat out with a lower-body injury suffered in Friday afternoon's 2-1 loss to Philadelphia. Albert, who had his parents in attendance, had been recalled from St. John's of the American Hockey League on Sunday. ... New York drew first blood 2:49 into the game as Zuccarello deflected McDonagh's point shot past Pavelec for his fourth goal - and second in four contests. Setoguchi answered 8:16 into the second, exchanging passes with Jokinen before unleashing a one-timer from the right faceoff circle. ... Rangers LW Benoit Pouliot notched an assist on Callahan's goal for his first point in 15 games.
