Flames 2, Kings 1: Mike Cammalleri scored with 23 seconds to play in the third period as visiting Calgary snapped Los Angeles' franchise record-tying 11-game point streak.

Blair Jones added a short-handed tally and Karri Ramo turned aside 21 shots in his first start since Nov. 8 as the Flames halted a modest two-game skid and won for only the third time in 12 contests (3-7-2).

Justin Williams scored the lone goal - the 200th of his career - for the Kings with 4:33 left in regulation, but Cammalleri beat his former club with a backhander from in front for his team-high 10th goal, handing Los Angeles its first regulation defeat in 12 games (7-1-4). Ben Scrivens made 18 saves in the loss.

Los Angeles was on a five-minute power play when Jones broke the scoreless deadlock at 15:50 of the second period, getting with a big assist from Scrivens, who tumbled to the ice while trying to play the puck to the side of the net. Scrivens scrambled to his feet but fell again, leaving Jones with an empty net at which to shoot from the bottom of the right faceoff circle after receiving a pass from Paul Byron.

Ramo was less than five minutes away from his first career NHL shutout when Williams broke down the right wing and sent a wrist shot from the top of the right circle just under the crossbar and into the far corner of the net.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Kings C Anze Kopitar picked up an assist on Williams' goal, giving him 500 points for his career. ... Flames D Ladislav Smid was banished from the contest when he received a game misconduct and five-minute major for boarding Dwight King at 14:26 of the second period. ... Flames rookie F Sean Monahan, the sixth overall pick in this year's draft and the team's second-leading scorer, missed his second straight contest due to a fractured foot suffered in Wednesday's game versus Chicago.
