Senators 6, Capitals 4:
Bobby Ryan scored twice as visiting Ottawa rallied for its second win in three games.

Defenseman Chris Phillips netted his first goal of the season and added an assist for the Senators, who defeated Washington for the fifth straight time. Mika Zibanejad, Zack Smith and Colin Greening also tallied and Craig Anderson made 29 saves.

Eric Fehr, Brooks Laich, blue-liner John Carlson and Marcus Johansson scored for the Capitals, whose winless streak reached four games (0-3-1). Braden Holtby stopped 35 shots.

A shot by Jason Spezza deflected off Zibanejad and in to put Ottawa up 4-3 in the third period, but a blast by Carlson off a faceoff with 3:27 remaining knotted the contest. Smith beat Holtby with a wrist shot 64 seconds later to put the Senators ahead for good.

Fehr opened the scoring 12:10 into the contest, but Ryan tipped a point shot past Holtby on a power play 1:18 later. Johansson buried a loose puck from the side of the net during a power play 38 seconds later and Laich tallied 47 seconds afterward to give Washington a 3-1 lead after the first period, but Phillips and Greening scored exactly four minutes apart in the second to forge a tie.
