Ducks 2, Rangers 1: Rookie Frederik Andersen turned aside a career-high 32 shots to remain perfect in four appearances as visiting Anaheim snapped New York's three-game winning streak.

Corey Perry and Kyle Palmieri scored first-period goals and Andersen made them stand up to improve to 4-0-0 as the Ducks won for the fifth time in six contests and completed their eight-game road trip with a 5-2-1 record. The victory gave Anaheim a league-best 25 points.

Defenseman Michael Del Zotto scored the lone goal and Henrik Lundqvist made 23 saves for the Rangers, who had a 25-12 edge in shots through two periods. Rangers captain Ryan Callahan assisted on the tally in his first game since suffering a broken thumb on Oct. 16.

The Ducks pounced on the Rangers for a pair of goals in the first 9:09 of the contest. Perry corralled the rebound of Dustin Penner's turnaround shot and scooped it past Lundqvist from the crease at 2:29 before Palmieri doubled the lead, taking a cross-ice backhand pass from defenseman Francois Beauchemin and whistling a high shot from the left faceoff circle by Lundqvist.

The Rangers dominated play in the second period and the pressure finally paid off with 1:24 left as a rebound squirted to Del Zotto, who fired it through a pile of bodies and over a sprawled Andersen.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Perry's goal was his ninth of the season and fifth in 10 career games against New York. ... Del Zotto scored for the first time in 31 games, dating to March 19 against New Jersey. ... The Ducks failed on a pair of late power plays and dipped to a league-worst 4-for-60 with the extra skater.
