Bruins 3, Senators 2: Nathan Horton scored for the fourth consecutive game, notching the winning goal midway through the third period as host Boston extended its domination of Ottawa.

David Krejci and Tyler Seguin scored 61 seconds apart in the first period and Anton Khudobin turned aside 45 shots as the Bruins defeated the Senators for the 13th time in the last 14 meetings.

Colin Greening and Andre Benoit scored for Ottawa, which opened its season-high seven-game road trip with its second straight loss. Robin Lehner made a career-high 47 saves as the teams combined for a staggering 97 shots.

Greening put the Senators in front only 2:48 into the contest, backhanding a puck past Khudobin for his third goal in four games. The lead was erased 40 seconds later on a deflection off Krejci before Seguin put Boston ahead at the 4:29 mark.

Benoit tied it 1:55 into the third period with a blistering slap shot that was not ruled a goal until it was reviewed nearly a minute later. Horton snapped the deadlock with 9:39 to play, collecting a rebound of Milan Lucic's shot from the left point and burying the rebound for his 12th goal.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Bruins acquired Jaromir Jagr from the Dallas Stars on Tuesday for prospects Lane MacDermid and Cody Payne and a conditional pick in this year's draft. The 41-year-old Jagr, who is 10th on the career list with 679 goals, had 14 tallies and 26 points with Dallas. ... Boston C Patrice Bergeron, who has a history of concussions, left in the second period following a collision with Greening. He appeared to take an elbow/forearm near the head area and did not return. ... Lehner, who has made four of his nine starts versus the Bruins, eclipsed his 44-save effort in a 2-1 overtime loss to Boston on Feb. 28.
