Penguins 3, Bruins 2: Brandon Sutter scored twice in a 3-minute, 24-second span late in the third period as host Pittsburgh overcame a two-goal deficit to stun Boston.
Chris Kunitz netted his 11th goal in eight games and Sutter tallied 51 seconds later to forge a 2-2 tie with 5:27 remaining in the contest. Marc-Andre Fleury turned aside 14 shots for the Penguins, who have won six in a row.
Tyler Seguin scored his fourth goal in as many games and captain Zdeno Chara added a power-play tally in the first period. Anton Khudobin finished with 31 saves for the Bruins, who saw their three-game winning streak come to an end and fell to 9-2-2 on the road.
With the game tied at 2-2, Sutter made Boston defenseman Dennis Seidenberg pay for a poor pass in his own end by wiring a shot from the left faceoff circle. Sutter's drive handcuffed Khudobin with 2:03 remaining in the contest.
Kunitz ended Khudobin's bid for his second career shutout with 6:18 remaining in the third period after one-timing a shot from the right faceoff dot for his 18th goal. Sutter leveled the contest in short order after taking James Neal's backhanded feed in the left circle and wristing a shot inside the right post.
GAME NOTEBOOK: After matching a career high with five assists in his last outing, Penguins captain Sidney Crosby saw his eight-game point streak come to an end. ... Claude Julien remained tied with Milt Schmidt (245) for the second-most wins in Boston history. Art Ross leads the Original Six club with 361 victories. ... Boston C Chris Kelly sat out with a lower-body injury. Kelly suffered the injury after absorbing a hit from Chris Neil during Monday's 3-2 shootout win over Ottawa.
