BLACKHAWKS 5, BLUE JACKETS 1: Patrick Sharp scored two goals, defenseman Duncan Keith had four assists and Marian Hossa reached 900 career points as visiting Chicago finished a six-game sweep of Columbus.

Hossa and rookie Andrew Shaw recorded a goal and an assist apiece for the Blackhawks, who extended their win streak to four and outscored Columbus 31-10 in the season series. Hossa has 417 goals and 483 assists.

Sharp reached the 30-goal plateau for the second straight season and third overall for Chicago, which is 8-1-1 in its last 10 games.

Goaltender Corey Crawford made 24 saves for his fourth straight victory.

Bryan Bickell’s pass to the front of the net went in off Shaw for his 10th goal to give Chicago the lead for good 4:12 into the game.

Sharp’s shot from below the left circle sneaked in past Columbus goaltender Steve Mason at 6:17. Defenseman Brent Seabrook added another from right point at 8:22 as the Blackhawks took a 3-0 lead after one period.

Hossa assisted on Sharp’s goal 37 seconds into the third and tapped in a Shaw pass at 4:09. Both came on the power play.

Rick Nash scored his first goal in eight games for Columbus.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Viktor Stalberg finished the season series against Columbus with eight goals and two assists. … Columbus failed on two power-play attempts and has not scored in its last 35 opportunities. … Hossa has 73 points this season, his most since he produced since finishing with 100 in 2006-07.
