Ryan Callahan scored two power-play goals and added an assist as the New York Rangers shook away some early cobwebs and ended their six-game losing streak with a 5-3 home triumph over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday.

Brian Boyle, Vinny Prospal and Artem Anisimov also tallied while All-Star defenseman Marc Staal notched a pair of assists for the Rangers, who scored more than three goals for just the second time since Dec. 27.

All-Star Henrik Lundqvist made 26 saves in posting his 199th career win for the Rangers, who had dropped three straight and four of five at home.

The Rangers allowed two goals in the first five minutes of the contest before taking over. Boyle deflected Staal's shot past All-Star Marc-Andre Fleury at 5:43 and Callahan made another nifty deflection during a man advantage less than four minutes later to forge a tie.

Prospal put the Rangers ahead for good 94 seconds into the middle session and Callahan completed his second two-goal performance of the season during another power play with 8:56 remaining, beating Fleury with a slap shot from the top of the left faceoff circle for a 4-2 lead.

Anisimov capped the string of five consecutive goals for New York by converting another man-advantage opportunity with 4:37 to play in the second.

Defenseman Deryk Engelland, Nick Johnson and Brett Sterling scored while Fleury stopped 26 shots for the Penguins, who have lost three straight on the road and four of five overall. Pittsburgh also had its five-game winning streak at Madison Square Garden halted.
