Milan Lucic and rookie Tyler Seguin scored less than 5 1/2 minutes apart in the second period to erase a deficit and lead the visiting Boston Bruins to a 3-2 victory over the New York Rangers on Wednesday.
Mark Recchi also tallied and Tim Thomas continued his strong play by making 34 saves for the Bruins, who improved to 7-1-0 on the road this season.
After a scoreless first period, Brandon Dubinsky got New York on the board at 7:10 of the second with a power-play goal. Boston turned the tide later in the session as Lucic tallied at 11:06 and Seguin added his fourth goal 5:29 later for a 2-1 edge.
Recchi expanded the lead early in the third, beating Henrik Lundqvist at 1:10 for his second goal of the season. Marian Gaborik drew the Rangers within 3-2 less than 4 1/2 minutes later with his fourth tally in three games.
Thomas turned aside 15 shots in the third period to raise his record to 10-1-0 on the season.
Lundqvist made 17 saves and also notched an assist for the Rangers, who had their three-game winning streak snapped.
