CHICAGO -- Vincent Hinostroza and Ryan Hartman each notched a goal and an assist, and the Chicago Blackhawks pulled away for a 4-1 win over the San Jose Sharks on Sunday night.

Duncan Keith and Patrick Kane also scored for the Blackhawks. Chicago (22-8-4) extended its winning streak to five games while earning at least one point for the seventh straight contest.

Joe Pavelski scored the Sharks' lone goal. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for San Jose (19-12-1).

Blackhawks goaltender Scott Darling made 33 saves to improve to 10-2-2.

Sharks goaltender Martin Jones allowed three goals on 25 shots to fall to 16-11-1.

San Jose opened the scoring on a deflection by Pavelski at the 1:13 mark of the second period. Defenseman Brent Burns ripped a wrist shot from near the front of the blue line, and Pavelski redirected the puck past Darling for his 11th goal of the season and his third goal in the past four games.

The Blackhawks evened the score at 1 on a one-timer by Keith with 3:11 remaining in the second period. Artemi Panarin slid a pass to Keith, who stepped into a slap shot that zipped past Jones' right shoulder. Keith pumped his arms to celebrate his first goal in 34 games this season.

Hartman scored to put Chicago on top 2-1 with 13:01 to go in the third period. Hinostroza won a faceoff in the right circle, and Hartman quickly fired a rising wrist shot past Jones for his sixth goal.

Chicago increased the lead to 3-1 on a goal by Hinostroza with 2:20 to play. The rookie center streaked down the right side of the ice before burying his third goal of the season.

Kane added an empty-net goal with 46.2 seconds remaining to finish the scoring.

Sharks center Melker Karlsson left the game early in the third period after colliding with the Blackhawks' Tyler Motte. Karlsson stayed down for several moments before slowly skating toward the locker room.

NOTES: Blackhawks C Artem Anisimov did not play because of an upper-body injury he sustained Saturday night against the St. Louis Blues. The 28-year-old has been one of Chicago's top players this season with 27 points (14 G, 13 A) in 32 games. ... Sharks RW Joel Ward returned to the lineup after missing his first game of the season as a healthy scratch. ... Blackhawks G Corey Crawford could return Dec. 23 against Colorado, Chicago coach Joel Quenneville said. Crawford missed his ninth game in a row Sunday as he recovers from an emergency appendectomy. ... Sharks C Micheal Haley was a healthy scratch for the third time in the past five games. ... Blackhawks LW Tyler Motte returned after a two-game absence as a healthy scratch.
