Ducks 2, Wild 1: Jakob Silfverberg scored his career-high 11th goal as visiting Anaheim snapped a three-game skid and regained the lead in the race for the Presidents' Trophy.

Silfverberg also set up defenseman Francois Beauchemin's career-high ninth tally for the Ducks, who have won all three meetings this season and are 9-1-0 in the last 10 encounters. Ryan Kesler notched two assists and John Gibson finished with 32 saves to rebound from yielding six goals in a loss to Calgary on Wednesday.

Zach Parise scored on a power play for his team-leading 27th goal for the Wild, who suffered just their sixth loss in 23 contests overall (17-4-2). Devan Dubnyk turned aside 22 shots while making his 27th consecutive start.

Minnesota defenseman Matt Dumba's turnover led to Anaheim seizing a 2-1 lead with 6:15 remaining in the second period, as blue-liner Simon Despres' shot from the point was deflected home by Silfverberg. The Wild pressed for the equalizer in the waning moments, but Gibson denied Nino Niederreiter at the left doorstep to preserve the win.

Silfverberg skated into the offensive zone before Beauchemin stepped into his drop pass and beat a screened Dubnyk to open the scoring with 47 seconds remaining in the first period. The Wild answered 11:31 into the second, as Thomas Vanek's sharp-angle shot from below the goal line produced a rebound that Parise backhanded home.
