Bruins 6, Blackhawks 2: Patrice Bergeron recorded his 200th career goal and added two assists as visiting Boston scored four times in the second period to emphatically snap its season-high six-game winless streak (0-4-2).

Reilly Smith and defenseman Dougie Hamilton each collected a goal and an assist while Loui Eriksson, Milan Lucic and Gregory Campbell also tallied for the Bruins, who wrapped up a five-game road trip with a 1-2-2 record. Brian Ferlin notched an assist for his first NHL point and Tuukka Rask finished with 26 saves in his 17th consecutive appearance.

Captain Jonathan Toews scored a power-play goal with two seconds remaining in the first period for the Blackhawks, who have dropped three in a row and 13 of their last 23 (10-10-3). Bryan Bickell also tallied, defenseman Duncan Keith notched two assists and Corey Crawford yielded four goals on 14 shots before being relieved midway into the second by Antti Raanta (14 saves).

Lucic split the defense before scoring from the slot at 6:18 of the second period to give Boston a 3-1 lead and Campbell's wrist shot from between the faceoff circles six minutes later ended Crawford's afternoon. Hamilton gave the Bruins their second power-play goal by wiring a shot from the high slot that sailed inside the right post at 17:27 and Smith put a bow on Boston's highest scoring output of the season 2 1/2 minutes later by beating Raanta from the upper edge of the right circle.

Smith's spinning backhand feed found Bergeron, who gained inside position on Chicago defenseman Michal Rozsival before tapping the puck home from in front three minutes into the contest. Eriksson's deflection of blue-liner Torey Krug's shot from the left circle during a power play 11 minutes later doubled the advantage, but Toews scored from the right doorstep moments after Rask was whistled for touching the puck outside the trapezoid.

GAME NOTEBOOK: After permitting Toews' goal, Rask vented some frustration by smashing his stick against the post. However, the netminder inadvertently hit oncoming Chicago RW Kris Versteeg, resulting in a two-minute slashing penalty. ... Boston LW Brad Marchand and Smith each notched an assist on Bergeron's goal, extending their respective point streaks to four games. Marchand has scored two goals and set up two others while Smith has collected two goals and three assists on their runs. ... Chicago D Johnny Oduya played just one shift before exiting with an undisclosed injury.
