Canucks 3, Jets 2 (OT): Ronalds Kenins forged a tie with 7:28 remaining in the third period and defenseman Luca Sbisa scored 36 seconds into overtime as Vancouver posted its second win in six home games.

After Kenins beat Ondrej Pavelec on the short side from the left faceoff circle to knot the contest, Sbisa alertly skated down the slot and converted a feed from All-Star Radim Vrbata in the extra session. Alex Burrows also scored and Eddie Lack made 26 saves in his first start since Jan. 13 for the Canucks, who improved to 2-2-0 on their six-game homestand.

Bryan Little recorded a goal and an assist for the second time in as many nights while Blake Wheeler also tallied for the Jets, who have dropped five in a row. Pavelec turned aside 30 shots as Winnipeg earned its league-leading 34th point on the road.

The Jets got on the board midway through the opening period as Wheeler chipped the puck past Canucks defenseman Dan Hamhuis and beat Lack from the right circle during a partial breakaway. Vancouver answered 2:47 later, when Daniel Sedin made a pass from the high slot that Burrows swept past Pavelec from the bottom of the right circle.

After a scoreless second session, the Jets took advantage of Alex Edler's misfortune early in the third to regain the lead. The Vancouver blue-liner watched his stick break as he attempted a pass, allowing Winnipeg captain Andrew Ladd to pounce on the puck in the right circle and set up Little for a shot from the left hash marks that sailed past Lack at 2:13.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Winnipeg was without LW Evander Kane, who was a late scratch for an undisclosed reason. ... Kenins has scored in each of his last two games after being kept off the scoresheet in his NHL debut. ... The Jets halted their dubious streak of allowing five goals at four games but netted the game's first tally for the league-leading 32nd time this season.
