Ducks 3, Kings 2 (SO): Jakob Silfverberg scored the lone goal of the shootout in the second round as visiting Anaheim spoiled a night honoring Rob Blake.

Silfverberg atoned for a costly penalty by beating Jonathan Quick and Frederik Andersen (26 saves) denied Marian Gaborik to seal the win. Captain Ryan Getzlaf and defenseman Sami Vatanen scored in regulation for the Ducks, who have won seven of nine.

Blue-liner Alec Martinez and Anze Kopitar tallied for the Kings, who retired Blake's No. 4 during a pregame ceremony. Quick turned aside 29 shots as Los Angeles fell to 1-2-3 on its seven-game homestand.

After a scoreless first period, Los Angeles got on the board at 8:54 of the second as defenseman Jeff Schultz sent a cross-ice pass to Martinez, whose one-timer from the right point glanced off Kyle Palmieri's elbow and past Andersen. Anaheim answered with 5:41 left in the session, when Getzlaf buried a rebound on the doorstep after Quick had denied Patrick Maroon.

Gaborik made a brilliant cross-crease pass from the bottom of the left faceoff circle to Kopitar, who beat Andersen from the right side during a power play at 18:27. Vatanen forged a 2-2 tie when his slap shot from the top of the right circle deflected off Kings defenseman Matt Greene and in with 7:08 remaining in the third.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Blake was honored during a pregame ceremony that involved many of his former teammates before becoming the sixth member of the Kings to have his number retired, joining Rogie Vachon, Marcel Dionne, Dave Taylor, Wayne Gretzky and Luc Robitaille.
