Maple Leafs 4, Bruins 3 (SO): Nazem Kadri scored the decisive goal in the fifth round of the shootout as visiting Toronto prevailed despite blowing a two-goal lead for the third straight game.

Kadri slid a backhander under Tuukka Rask before David Krejci shot wide on Boston's final attempt, giving the Maple Leafs only their second win in six games. Phil Kessel scored one goal and set up another while Leo Komarov and James van Riemsdyk also tallied in regulation and Jonathan Bernier made 25 saves as Toronto beat Boston for the fourth time in their last five meetings.

Carl Soderberg recorded a goal and an assist while Krejci and defenseman Torey Krug added late second-period tallies for the Bruins, who had their three-game home winning streak snapped. Rask made 18 saves in falling to 10-3-1 lifetime against the Maple Leafs.

Komarov returned from a 14-game absence to open the scoring midway through the first period before Soderberg poked in a puck during a power play at the 17-second mark to ignite a five-goal second session. Kessel set up van Riemsdyk in the slot 31 seconds later before registering his 500th career point with a man-advantage tally at 9:45.

Krejci cut it to 3-2 with an attempted pass from the right wing that deflected off the stick of Toronto defenseman Cody Franson and over the head of Bernier at 15:28. Boston got another fortunate bounce 2:03 later to tie it as Krug threw the puck into the crease, where it deflected off one defender before caroming in off the skate of Komarov.
