Senators 2, Devils 0: Craig Anderson made 34 saves and Kyle Turris scored both goals as visiting Ottawa improved to 2-1-1 under new coach Dave Cameron.

Captain Erik Karlsson, Mark Stone, Clarke MacArthur and defenseman Mark Borowiecki each notched an assist for the Senators, who evened the three-game season series against New Jersey at one win apiece. Anderson, who started for the first time in three contests, needed to make only eight saves in the third period to secure his third shutout of the season and 29th career.

Cory Schneider stopped 14 shots for the Devils, who suffered their fifth consecutive loss - both overall and at home (0-3-2). The setback began a stretch during which New Jersey plays eight of 10 at Prudential Center.

Ottawa wasted little time getting on the board, converting a power-play opportunity just 2:47 into the contest. Karlsson snapped a shot from the right point that Turris deflected past Schneider from the low slot 23 seconds into the man advantage.

Anderson was his busiest in the second period, turning aside 16 shots. The veteran helped the Senators go 5-for-5 on the penalty kill and had his victory sealed when Turris scored into an empty net with one second remaining in the third.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Turris snapped a 10-game drought with his first-period tally. He hadn't scored since Nov. 24 at Detroit. ... Devils RW Michael Ryder's goalless stretch reached 19 contests as he hasn't found the net since tallying twice at St. Louis on Nov. 6. ... Anderson had allowed at least three goals in nine of his previous 10 starts.
