Sharks 4, Ducks 1: Joe Pavelski and Tommy Wingels scored power-play goals as visiting San Jose snapped its four-game slide while ending Anaheim's seven-game winning streak in the process.

Defensemen Brent Burns and Marc-Edouard Vlasic also tallied for the Sharks, who began a stretch during which they play 10 of 12 games on the road. Patrick Marleau and Logan Couture each recorded two assists while Antti Niemi turned aside 33 shots.

Matt Beleskey netted the lone goal for the Ducks, who completed a 4-1-0 homestand. Frederik Andersen made 33 saves as his personal 10-game winning streak came to an end.

Burns opened the scoring 8:25 into the contest with a wrist shot from the left point that beat Andersen to the short side. Pavelski doubled the lead during a power play with 21 seconds left in the first period, redirecting Joe Thornton's pass from the right faceoff circle past the goaltender while standing on the doorstep.

Vlasic made it 3-0 midway through the second as he received a pass from Marleau in the right circle and slipped a backhander between Andersen's pads. Wingels buried a backhand shot from the slot during a man advantage at 11:40 of the third, but Beleskey spoiled Niemi's shutout bid with 5:07 remaining.

Anaheim had allowed a total of three goals over the first four games of its homestand. ... Andersen's last regular-season loss came on March 20 - also against San Jose.
