Ducks 3, Coyotes 2 (OT): Saku Koivu scored his second goal of the night at the 51-second mark of overtime as host Anaheim extended its franchise-record winning streak to 10 games.

Andrew Cogliano also tallied and Daniel Winnik notched two assists for the Ducks, who remained unbeaten in regulation at home (14-0-2). Jonas Hiller turned aside 23 shots as Anaheim posted its fourth win in as many meetings with Phoenix this season.

Martin Hanzal and Mike Ribeiro scored late in the third period to earn a point for the Coyotes, who tied a franchise record by going beyond regulation in each of their last five contests (1-4). Thomas Greiss finished with 38 saves as Phoenix fell to 1-2-4 in its last seven games.

Ribeiro forged a 2-2 tie with 44 seconds left in the third, deflecting defenseman Keith Yandle's one-timer from the right point past Hiller. But Anaheim wasted little time in the extra session as Koivu tipped blue-liner Ben Lovejoy's wrist shot from above the slot by Greiss to cap his first multi-goal performance of the season.

The Ducks grabbed the lead while down a skater with 2:52 remaining in the first period. With Jakob Silfverberg in the penalty box for high-sticking, Koivu carried the puck into the offensive zone and unleashed a slap shot from the top of the left faceoff circle that beat Greiss for his sixth goal.

Anaheim doubled the lead 5:04 into the third, when Winnik's slap pass from along the right-wing boards caromed off Cogliano in the low slot and past Greiss. Hanzal spoiled Hiller's shutout bid with 4:34 left, ripping a shot from the left circle that caromed off the diving goaltender's stick and under the crossbar after a strange bounce off the boards on a dump-in attempt on the right side.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Ducks have posted three of their four victories over the Coyotes at home. ... Anaheim also extended its point streak to 13 games (11-0-2), the longest such run in the league since Pittsburgh recorded 15 straight wins from March 2-30. ...
