Stars 5, Flames 1: Alex Chiasson recorded two goals and an assist and captain Jamie Benn also scored twice as host Dallas rolled to its second win in six games.

Defenseman Brenden Dillon added a goal and Ray Whitney notched a pair of assists for the Stars, who snapped a two-game skid. Kari Lehtonen made 28 saves and picked up an assist in his return from a lower-body injury.

Lee Stempniak tallied and Karri Ramo stopped 29 shots for Calgary, which completed a 1-4-0 road trip.

Chiasson opened the scoring at 4:04 of the first period and completed his third career two-goal performance at 11:11 of the second by shoveling in a cross-slot pass from Whitney. The tally began a spurt of three in 61 seconds as Dallas opened a 4-1 lead.

Benn beat Ramo with a wrist shot from the left faceoff circle 18 seconds after Chiasson's second goal and Dillon capped the outburst 43 seconds later with a wrister from the left point. Benn wrapped up his 11th career two-goal effort at 3:36 of the third, when he stuffed in a backhander at the left post.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Flames C Jiri Hudler failed to record a point, ending his season-opening streak at nine games. ... Dallas LW Ryan Garbutt served the first contest of his five-game suspension for charging Anaheim's Dustin Penner on Sunday. ... Calgary captain Mark Giordano missed his second straight game with an undisclosed injury.
